Here is my current bench press strength. Here I am benching with a normal grip, 405 lbs.
After many set backs from small injuries it's nice to bench in the 400s again. This is technically an all time PR because the last time I was at this level of strength I benched 405 with a wide grip.

Hey this is Nick! I know I normally don't post. I wanted to post this because this is a huge accomplishment for me. I have wanted to do this for over 3 years. I have been close in the past, but minor injuries have set me back multiple times. I usually set a PR goal for my birthday, which is in December, but this year came early π

Proper form helps you workout more efficiently so you can use your energy for the extra push rather than wasted movements. Improper form may mean you are targeting unintended muscles or muscle groups. The better your form, the better your results!

We are preparing for a 7 mile hike in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and tracking my progress. I gained some weight in quarantine (which is fine and it happens. Don't beat yourself up, just do something about it!), shed some pounds with intermittent fasting and now I have 2 1/2 weeks to whip my ass into shape.

We finally got to visit Gold's Gym Venice Beach. We made a hour detour to make it happen. The Gold's Gym by our Air BnB treated us very well with a pass while we visited. Nick could not stop talking about how professional and courteous the consultants were. I also worked out for the first time since my car accident on lol
