NO EXCUSES!!...or at least don't use these. And they cover a lot of bases!
To paraphrase a Winston Churchill quote, "There's always an argument for doing nothing." (might be the actual quote) π
You don't need New Year's Resolutions or the end of the year to start on something that represents progress. Start today!
β‘οΈ First, be clear about what you want. Be specific!
β‘οΈ Start where you are. Retracing steps often halts action.
β‘οΈ Focus on small changes.
β‘οΈ Identify things that are doable - that represent progress.
β‘οΈ Start today! Be action oriented. Use this to build momentum!
Better is now - if you put in motion that action and steps needed for change. Sitting on the sidelines or waiting usually have predictable outcomes. Good luck!!

MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT!...it's a Rightsize Rule! And a good way to keep things moving forward.
This doesn't mean you can't make changes or have to follow a rigid plan. It does mean you're committed to progress and improvement.

FIND WAYS TO HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE! It starts with showing up.
Having a good vibe or atmosphere at a gym helps. One where people are supportive of each other. Encouraging is even better!
Having a workout partner is another good way. This makes it harder to slack off. Ideally, you both push each other to achieve better results.
And this doesn't have to be at the gym. It could be cycling or running, etc. Lance Armstrong had an expression, "Are you riding...or hiding?" You get the idea.
How do you hold yourself accountable?
Our Gildan 50/50 Dryblend long sleeve shirts look good on Theo and Tim. They even look a little stronger!!
Our shirts always look best on people wearing them. Thanks for following our page! π

IT WAS TIME!!...Get the Rightsize Fitness shirts separated by size and counted.
It was fun trying different color combinations to see what people liked. Very positive response overall.
The shirts were intended to be something fun to get people motivated - a little "sizzle", but not the steak.
Now to writing. Thanks for your ideas and support. And of course following on Facebook. Check us out on LinkedIn and follow too. See link below...

YOU CAN'T OUTWORK A BAD DIET! Or at least it's very difficult.
I'm reminded of a conversation I used to have with my dad. He would tell me it's "70% diet and 30% exercise" (or 80/20 or something like that). I'd argue the opposite.
In retrospect, I was wrong. Some people can outwork a bad diet, but it takes an enormous amount of effort. As you get order and less mobile or fit, those same workouts and level of activity usually aren't sustainable.
Activity is very important. But so is focusing on nutrition and cutting out bad calories or making better and healthier choices.
Sometimes this can be simply eating less - i.e. smaller portions.
In order to lose weight (not the only measurement, but an important one), you have to burn more calories than you consume. Finding easy and obvious ways to do this can go a long way!
BETTER IS NOW! Start today!! Thanks for following this page.

M-KY-H-A? (Make Kentucky Healthy Again!?)
Not sure this is an acronym, but a reminder that each state has their own programs to address public health. It was interesting to see Kentucky's list....
π‘ First, assess where you are.
π‘ Then make basic suggestions.
β
Eat 2 servings of fruits or vegetables daily.
β
Exercise at least 30 minutes, 3 times per week.
β
Engage with others, stay connected!
We like our royal blue and white "Kentucky" color Gildan shirts! Looking good Linda! π

SOMETIMES WORK FINDS YOU!...or sometimes RSF shirts are simply great to wear to work! π
Kim wanted a shirt that was a little loose. Working at a dry cleaner can get warm! Always fun to drop off some shirts to be cleaned and see her "wearing" her Rightsize Fitness shirt. π
Stay active or take small steps to get active. Do the best you can - until you can do better. Our shirts look the best on people like Kim - wearing them!!
