Happy New Year! Like you, we look forward to making the most from all the new opportunities that come our way in 2021! We wish you the best on your journey to becoming a scholar-athlete and a wonderful human being, who is made in the image of the God Almighty! We pray all your efforts will produce a character of growth that you can take with you into your relationships, your work, your marriage, your parenting, and walk with God. Part of growth is pruning; cutting branches to prepare for future growth. Pruning seems counterintuitive to growth, but it is the only way to prepare for a more fruitful harvest. Therefore, My Crop Sports will go through an “off-season” pruning to prepare for future growth. Due to financial hardships, the My Crop Sports app, website, and most services were shut down in 2020. My Crop Sports will continue to sell livestreaming equipment (e.g. Sling Studio, switchers, cameras, consoles). We will also continue to build relationships with college athletics programs. We will take inventory of our assets and knowledge as we consider how we can support other Sports Tech companies in our common goal: to help hidden scholar-athletes gain exposure to college athletic programs. Your game is growing. Our game is growing, too. Happy New Year 2021.

Former NCAA exec supports players in NIL matter 01/21/2020

“I do not pretend to understand the moral universe; the arc is a long one, my eye reaches but little ways; I cannot calculate the curve and complete the figure by the experience of sight; I can divine it by conscience. And from what I see I am sure it bends towards justice.” — Theodore Parker 1853

“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

What will members of this group say as they actively pursue fairness and justice for collegiate student-athletes?

Former NCAA exec supports players in NIL matter Former NCAA executive Mark Lewis told ESPN that if the priority is to monetize college sports, "then you can't expect the players to live by the same set of rules [as they did in the past]. ... It's just a question of fairness."
