2026. New Year. New season. Same faith. 🙏

As I jog through Memorial Park to start 2026, I’m reminded how much of a blessing it is just to be present.
Whatever happened in the past, it happened for a reason.
Whatever lies ahead is meant to be.

God aligns every step in our journey — even the ones we don’t understand at the time.
The future is bright when we walk with faith, optimism, and effort.

I wish everyone peace in their heart, love and respect for one another, and the grace to embrace every interaction and opportunity with kindness.
Be grateful in all things. Choose happiness above all.

There is no struggle when there is faith, belief in God, and consistent effort.

We kicked things off with a full dynamic warm-up, moved into lower half pitching mechanics to build power from the ground up, and then finished with medicine ball explosive drills to activate his hips and legs for better energy transfer and velocity.

Short hops… ground balls… first-step reaction… hitting… this 12-year-old lefty power hitter was swinging a 33/31 bamboo bat like a grown man.
Hand-eye coordination, using the core, using the legs, and chasing that clean crack at impact — he gave me everything today.

After the lesson he went straight to the cards and showed me his favorite player — Jose Altuve 🧡💙 …
But then he tried to spell his favorite team… and let’s just say “Astros” might be tougher than a curveball. 🤣

Baseball instincts = 100
Spelling test = pending 😅
Proud of this kid — he KNOWS how to do baseball.

Had the honor of coaching 7-year-old Bethany today in her very first Fastpitch softball lesson! 🥎💥

I coached her big brother Zahn-Master (Bryan) when he was six — now he’s 15 and playing at a high level. Seeing his little sister start her own journey brings it full circle.

She gave 100% focus. 100% attention. 100% effort. 🙌
If she keeps that same drive, she’s going to be every bit as good (if not better) when she’s his age.

Love seeing the next generation of athletes put in the work early! 💪
