KATY PINOY SPORTS - MISSION STATEMENT. Sportsmanship is a key part of this mission and it should be a core value in the behavior of all players.
To involve residents of the Katy community and surrounding areas in Team Sports to foster Sportsmanship, competition, exercise and fun. The main focus of the group is mostly in Basketball and Volleyball. Although most of the participants are Filipinos, the sports are open to other ethnic background on a limited basis.

Katy Pinoy Sports is pleased to announce the 2019 SummerVolleyball Tournament from June 22 to August 10, 2019. Game schedules will be between 3pm to 8pm and will be finalized and published on the website by June 15, 2019. Tentative game dates are June 22 & 29, July 13, 20 & 27, August 3 &10.
The following divisions are offered and each division requires a minimum of 4 teams.
Non-Competitive COED Division
Registration fee: $600 per team
Format: Single Elimination
Open to players of Filipino descent or relation, as per KPS eligibility guidelines, ages 12 (by June 1, 2019) and up
Requires 2 female and 2 male players per game

maximum number of teams: 10
Competitive COED Open Division
Registration fee: $500 per team
Format: Double Elimination
Open to players of Filipino descent or relation, as per KPS eligibility guidelines, ages 12 (by June 1, 2019) and up
Requires at least 2 female and 2 male players per game
maximum number of players per team: 12
maximum number of teams: 6
Mens 45 years & up Division
Registration fee: $500 per team
Format: Double Elimination
Open to players of Filipino descent or relation, as per KPS eligibility guidelines, ages 45 (by June 1, 2019) and up

Youth Coed Division
Registration fee: $500 per team
Format: Double Elimination
Open to players of Filipino descent or relation, as per KPS eligibility guidelines, ages 12 to 21 (by June 1, 2019)

Please note that all players are required to wear a jersey of the same color (other than the team libero) with a number at the back or front of the jersey during games. Full tournament guidelines will be posted on our website. Teams and/or players who do not adhere to the tournament guidelines and/or housekeeping rules will be subject to suspension or disqualification from the tournament.
There will be a maximum number of teams per division and we anticipate that it will be filling up very quickly. Please make sure that you notify us of your intent as soon as possible. Registration ends on June 1, 2019 and only the teams who have submitted their non-refundable deposit of $200 by this time will be accepted. The balance of the registration fee is due June 14,2019, and teams who have not submitted the full payment by this time will be disqualified and their deposits forfeited. Divisions that do not have the minimum required teams by June 14 will be eliminated from the tournament and team deposits will be refunded for that division.
