It's been a couple of years since the STPA playday closed because we lost our friendly Friendswood arena. So, since I'm spring cleaning, I'd like to donate to some teacher, church, school, etc. that is having some event that needs an award.
I have a BUNCH of really pretty and all kinds of ribbons you can have. Trouble is, STPA is stamped on all of them, but if it doesn't matter to you and all you want is to give "something", these will work and their free to just pick up.

There really is no reason to attempt to send out the STPA newsletter. Texas is still cancelling events because of the virus. I feel for horse organizations trying to have events and then having to cancel per the Governor's orders. BE SAFE.

Obviously all of the horse events have been cancelled for April because we’ve been asked by the President and the Governor to stay home to protect our families and friends. I have listed the events anyway, not to show you what you’ve missed, but so you can encourage the horse groups to reschedule. They will need your support. Most of the events were intended to fund their association for another year or so. A lot of the groups need to find dates in new arenas, re-do information, forms, etc. It is a lot of work to set up a show, so give them motivation to make a day for you to enjoy.

STPA STPA is a horse club in Friendswood,Texas that promotes playdays (speed events) in a fun atmosphere for the whole family. There are four events at each playday: poles, cloverleaf barrels, straight Barrels, and an optional jackpot race.

ALL riders must use appropriate equipment as outlined in the Texas 4-H Horse Show Rules. In western performance classes this means the use of a curb bit that has a solid or broken mouthpiece, has shanks, and acts with leverage, proper curb straps required. In Speed classes, the use of a mechanical hackamore, gag bit, or other type of bridle is the contestant’s choice (all are prohibited in Judged Western classes)
OPEN CLASSES: All participants (adult & youth) must be at least 8 years old (& in 3rd grade) by August 31, 2019, a birth certificate may be requested of youth riders. All ages compete together  4-H members may compete in Open Classes.
