🥇 GOLD MEDAL! 🥇

One team. One rhythm.

In a group event, no one wins alone. Every move has to land together, and that only comes from hundreds of hours training side by side.

So proud of these students for their focus, trust, and teamwork. This gold belongs to all of them. 🥋

🏆 A Proud Moment for Kung Fu Houston Institute (formerly Houston Shaolin Temple Kung Fu Center)！
In 2026, our team traveled to California to compete in the World Wushu Open Championship — and our athletes delivered outstanding results, bringing home many gold and silver medals!
Competing against top martial artists from around the world, our students showed not only strong technique, but also the discipline, focus, and respect that are at the heart of traditional kung fu. These results are the reward for months of dedicated training and hard work.
A huge thank you to our coaches for their guidance, and to our families for their constant support and encouragement. We couldn't be prouder of every athlete on this team! 🥋💪

A wonderful demonstration by Grandmaster Shi De Shan. Purposeful movements with a strong impact.

Recently, a few of our summer camp students had the honor to be trained under Grandmaster Shi De Shan. He is a 31st Generation Shaolin kung fu monk. Grandmaster Shi De Shan’s specialties are traditional Shaolin kungfu bare hand and weapons, hard qi gong and san da (san shou) sparring. We are very thankful and appreciative of the time and valuable lessons Grandmaster Shi De Shan has given to our students. We hope our students would be able to apply their experiences to their future training. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
