Interesting little project this week. I had a defective 200 AH Lifepo4 battery which the manufacturer replaced but did not want the old one back. The battery was new, right out of the box. I cautiously cut it open to find the internal BMS. Ordered a new BMS on Amazon ($127), replaced it and now have a new $1,000 battery.

Great day to get some rigging completed. Rat boards are going higher.

Had some fun learning about parceling and serving. Tore my hands up before making a serving mallet. The old salty sailors did it right.

24 Ratboards, (12 per side) are roughed up, epoxy filled and ready for epoxy and paint.

Operation Sunscreen is officially complete.

Cockpit shower added to the storage box. The box needed some fiberglass in and out and a better mounting system. Now to repipe the boat with PEX.

Flush mount, stainless push-buttons, to control the anchor windlass, from the helm. What a great idea!
