Excited to finally release my book.. had to get so many things cleaned and cleared up before releasing...this was a process! Picture here are all the people that I played with or against, coached me or who I had great conversations with along my Journey.. Hey Friends!
I wanted to announce something I'll be starting week after next, but first let me give some background.
I started working with youth through my church about six years ago and it's been one of the best things I've ever done! When I started, two girls in particular were in 7th and 8th grade, and I moved up with them as they got older. Even when we moved to another church, these two young ladies still managed to be in my life. ❤ I was able to lead them both in Lifegroup their senior years which felt like we'd gone through this journey together. What a blessing!
On Monday, I met with a group of seniors and a few of my LG girls from last year (they are all home from college) and as I listened to them talk to one another, I realized something that's actually been on my heart for awhile - it's time for me to grow with them.
I've loved working in the Kingsland Student Ministry so, so much, but I feel the nudge to take the leap to the next level - college ministry.
With that said, I've talked to our Adult Discipleship Pastor, also my boss (haha), and I'll be launching a community group for returning college students (male and female), or those home ONLY for the summer.

This is still so underrated. How can you play basketball but you don’t watch it???? 🤷🏾‍♂️
