1:45 to 2:15 pm: Combo Dance (ages 3/4) and Beginning Jazz (ages 6+)
2:15 to 2:45 pm: Combo (ages 5/6) and Beginning Ballet (ages 7+)

Introducing the members of 2026-2027 HRDE, Houston Repertory Dance Ensemble, our pre-professional company at Amy Blake’s.

HRDE is for dancers who wanting to go the next level or go professional, whether that’s performing on Broadway, dancing with a company, or anything in between, HRDE offers the training and mentorship to get you ready for those spaces.

First up, meet Lexi Hua. A Junior at Kinder HSPVA. This summer she took her training even further, spending time at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.

There’s something so special about seeing a dancer receive her very first pair of pointe shoes. It’s a milestone that represents years of hard work, patience, strength, and dedication, and we couldn’t be more proud of these girls!
