So proud of Mya Dennis M.MICHELE and her journey!

Mya hit the dance floor/court with the TSU Sensations her freshman through junior year, all while working toward her goal of becoming a nurse. After completing her science classes to prepare for her nursing journey at TSU, Texas Southern University she transitioned to the nursing program at Prairie View A&M University during her senior year to complete her degree requirements.

I am so proud to say that I have watched her skills develop over the years from her high school cheerleading days to becoming a beautiful dancer, and now mastering a new skill with another phenomenal and well established HBCU coach Shawn Zachery as a member of the PV Black Foxes!
🦊💃🏽

Watching her grow, evolve, and step into new opportunities has been such a blessing. Her dedication, determination, and willingness to embrace new challenges make me so proud. Her journey is a beautiful reminder that growth happens when you stay committed to your goals and remain open to new experiences.

Forever proud of her, her growth, and her journey. Forever Sensational! 🏀🐯♥️✨

Sophomore ✨First year member
Kaniya Nelson
Kaniya’s lines, extensions, and the way she creates shapes through movement can be breathtaking. Every reach feels expansive, every pose more dramatic, and every movement travels beautifully. She is a first-year dance member. When Kaniya starts to combine those natural physical attributes with musicality, control, and artistry, the result will be mesmerizing.

Sophomore First Year ✨ 🐯🏀💃🏾
Kenesha Jennings
Kenesha is such a powerful performer! Her musicality is phenomenal. She doesn’t just dance to the music; she truly hears it. Every movement, every accent, and every transition is intentional, using the music to emphasize the choreography and bring the story to life. She doesn’t just execute the moves, she makes you feel them. That’s what makes her artistry so special. 🔥💃

Freshman ✨✨Shaniya Moore
Shaniya’s greatest strengths as a dancer are her flexibility and grace. There’s something beautiful about the way she moves with such fluidity and ease. Her flexibility allows her to create stunning lines and extensions, while her grace gives each movement a sense of elegance and softness. She has the ability to make challenging movements look effortless, and that’s what makes her presence captivating during performances. 💃🏽✨

Freshman ✨Derihanna Terry
Derihanna has a soft, quiet quality in her dancing that is also very powerful. She demonstrates a strong understanding of how to use movement, energy, and personality to communicate the story. She is especially effective at recognizing when to shift her movement quality and character to match the emotion and intention of the piece. These transitions feel natural and intentional, allowing her to connect with the audience and bring the choreography to life.

Freshman✨Jakyla Hill
Jakyla is truly gifted with natural ability. She hasn’t had much technical training, but that hasn’t stopped Jakyla from shining. She learns quickly, picks up choreography with ease, and nails it!
Once she has more time to practice and develop the fundamentals of dance, she is going to be unstoppable. The natural talent is already there. Now it’s just about building the technique to match it! 🔥💃🏽

Sophomore ✨Courtney Tillman
You can tell this dancer isn’t even aware of it yet, but she already has what it takes to stand alongside the New York Rockettes! She has the height, beautiful lines, and the flexibility to match those incredible extensions.
Once she becomes more comfortable with the HBCU-inspired, sexy hip-hop style and fully embraces her performance presence, she’s going to be ready for the Broadway stage. The potential is undeniable, she just has to keep training, growing, and believing in herself! ✨

Sophomore ✨Crislyn Wiggins
Crislyn truly lights up when she dances! ✨ Her positive energy shines through every movement, and you can feel her joy when she performs. She has a natural ability to connect with the audience and bring her personality to the stage. That kind of energy is something you can’t teach, it’s a gift! 💃🏽🔥

Freshman ✨Jonaya Cine✨ Jonaya definitely has a true passion for dance. She is the epitome of congeniality and always brings such a positive aura that shines through every time she performs. She gives 100% at every practice, and that dedication truly carries over into her performances.
She has demonstrated such professionalism throughout these first few weeks, and I am so proud of the commitment and passion she continues to show. I look forward to watching her grow, both as a dancer and as an individual, throughout her dance journey! 🐯🏀♥️

Freshman ✨ Kassidy Holt✨ Some leaders simply have that special gift, and Kassidy is one of those dancers. She is incredibly optimistic and always strives to be precise and correct in every movement. Her attention to detail and commitment to getting each move right truly set her apart.
Most importantly, her passion for dance shines brightly when she performs. Her big, beautiful eyes light up, and her smile is absolutely contagious! Kassidy brings such a joyful energy to the stage, and it is a pleasure to watch her grow and shine as a dancer and potential leader.

Freshman ✨Elena Holly✨
Elena is soft-spoken, but she brings such a powerful athletic energy to her dancing. She is incredibly coachable and does a wonderful job of listening, taking corrections, and immediately working to make the necessary changes.
Her willingness to learn and grow is truly admirable. She approaches each practice with focus and determination, and I look forward to watching her confidence and strength continue to shine through her dancing.🏀♥️🐯

Freshman ✨Aaliyah Williams✨
Tiny but Mighty! Aaliyah may have a dainty, delicate frame, but the moment she hits the stage, that delicacy gives way to undeniable power. Every sharp movement, explosive leap, and commanding beat makes her seem ten feet tall, proving that the most powerful presence can come in the smallest package.🏀♥️🐯
