🦈 A Special Trip for Bella 💙

Today we had the honor of taking Bella, our 2025 beneficiary, out for a day on the water. She’s a young girl fighting brain cancer — and she’s tougher than most grown men we know.

The water was super pretty, almost too still… the kind of water that whispers something big is nearby. Real big shark water.

We dropped a jack head and soaked it for hours. Six hours. We said, “This water’s too pretty to be this slow. There’s a big girl out there hunting.”

And then — it happened.
A run like thunder.
Two, maybe three minutes of hard screaming drag.
Then silence.
I hammered down and the rod bent like it knew something we didn’t. Rack leaned forward…
And just like that, it went completely slack.

We may never know what was on the other end of that line. But for Bella, for just a moment, the fight was about something other than cancer. It was about possibility, power, and the mystery of the deep.

We didn’t land the shark.
But we gave her a memory. And maybe… that’s what she needed most.

🎣 Adventure Recap with the Dowell Family! 🦈

We had the pleasure of fishing with the Dowell family from Kansas today! Last year, they visited during Beryl and couldn’t get out on the water — so we were excited to finally get them out for some action.

We kicked things off strong with a solid bull red on the line. Colton battled it like a pro, but it broke off right at the shoreline. We thought we were in for a wild redfish bite, but with the freshwater pushing in and uncooperative tides, it made for a challenging day.

We even sent out some far drops hunting for sharks — most broke off... but Colton came through with his FIRST SHARK, a nice blacktip, right as time ran out. 🎉

We had the pleasure of fishing with the Heath family yesterday!

It was a slow bite with slack tide most of the day… but we finished strong! 💪 Mrs. Heath landed a monster 40” redfish to close it out in style! 🐟🔥

The Heaths were all smiles and told us they’d take a redfish over a shark any day — can’t argue with that!
