I wanted to get everyone our tournament dates and information to play. We will be using several locations in the West Houston/Katy area. I have attached a registration form as well. West Briar Middle School, Texas Christian School, and British International.

We offer both one day and two day tournaments. Our July tournaments will be a 5 games - 3 day event.

· Saturday only – offer 3 games for $150

· Saturday and Sunday – 4 game min. for $225

· 1st and 2nd place Awards for every division

· All games will be played with certified officials and a regulation stop clock

· Advance Online Payment Required – PayPal, Zelle, or Cash App

Tournament Dates: Multi-Team or Multi-Tournament Discount Available

No Refund after due date, a credit toward a future tournament will be given

· Winter Tournament Series

Jan. 8th and 22nd Feb. 12th and 26-27

· Spring Tournament Series (4 games cost $225)

March 5-6, 12-13, 26-27 April 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, 23-24 May 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28-29

· Summer Tournament Series (4 games cost $225)

June 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26 July 2-3

July – 8-10 Tune Up for National (5 games guarantee must be willing to play on Friday or you will only play 4 games) cost $275

July - 15-17 H-Town Showdown (5 games guarantee must be willing to play on Friday or you will only play 4 games) cost $275

Fall Basketball League

We are accepting registration for our Annual Fall Basketball League for all ages. Games will be played at Texas Christian School and two other locations. Our league will consist of teams from 3rd grade – High School. We will play 2 games per playing date on Saturday, with a season ending tournament crowning our champion with a team trophy and medals for each player on the 1st and 2nd.

Cost is $300 per team. .

Playing Dates Sept. 25 Oct. 2 and 9.

We would love to invite you and your teams to come play with us on any of our September tournament dates.

We offer 3 games per date, all at the same location with a chance for 1st or 2nd place awards for each grade level.

Location - West Briar Middle School, Texas Christian School, and Dub Sports.

Cost to play is $150 per team, multiple teams discount available. Entry fee is due at least 7 days prior to the tournament.

Anything after is due immediately, if space is available.

Full-Court Press - Part 1

The Athlete and Commitment

In basketball, there are two basic approaches to playing defense: half court or full court. Most of the time teams play half court defense because it requires less of a commitment, they allow the offense to bring the ball up the court before it requires putting in any serious effort.

Full court is the opposite, every pass is challenged, every dribble is cut off, every action contested at top intensity.

“God desires full court followers of Christ”.

Too many who claim to follow Jesus today are content to react only when absolutely necessary rather than with an everyday intensity that brings advantage and victory.

However, our spiritual journey requires our total commitment.

First, it is necessary to recognize that spiritual growth is not optional it is God’s requirement. It is not a choice, it is a command.

Do you realize what is going on here (John 3:22-26)

Verse 30 - I must decrease, but He (Jesus) must increase.

We grow spiritual when more of Jesus is being expressed through our lives.
