Great Britain Baseball National Teams

Great Britain Baseball alumni Gary Gill Hill and Owen Wild were in pitching action for the Tampa Bay Rays AA affiliate, Montgomery Biscuits on the road to Chicago Cubs affiliate, Knoxville Smokies last Friday, 23rd May.�

Right hander Gill Hill opened the game, the second of a double-header for the Biscuits, allowing just one run over his five innings on the mound before fellow GB alum, Owen Wild, came in to close the last two innings striking out three and allowing only one hit on his way to his fifth save of the year and Gill Hill’s second win from two.

Wild has today, 26th May, been assigned to AAA Durham Bulls

As part other the upcoming GB Baseball Women's invitational tournament which will be held at Farnham Park from the 5th - 7th June there will be a FREE open baseball camp on the morning of Sunday June 7th.

The Camp is open to all and will run from 9am - 12noon ahead of the days tournament games.

After recently returning from Spring Training in Holland at the Amsterdam Pirates baseball complex, where the GB Women’s National Team - along with members of the development squad - were joined by the Quebec Women’s Baseball Academy, the British Baseball Federation and Great Britain Baseball Team are pleased to announce the 26-player extended roster for this year’s WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Qualifiers, which will take place in Tainan this August.
