I’ve got a challenging yet rewarding workout for you—a belly-fat-blasting routine that also boosts heart health. This workout burns serious calories and creates an afterburn effect, revving your metabolism for hours.

Here’s how to do it: After a warm-up (think brisk walk or dynamic stretches), complete each exercise back-to-back with no rest. Rest for 60 seconds at the end of each round and aim for 3-5 rounds.

MetCon Madness Workout:

Push-ups: 10 reps. Modify on knees if needed, keeping your core tight.

Alternating Reverse Lunges: 10 reps each side. Aim for 90-degree angles in the knees.

Plank with Shoulder Taps: 10 taps each side. Keep hips still.

Squats: 10 reps. Focus on a full range of motion.

Skaters: 10 reps each side. Land softly with a big lateral leap.

Bear Crawl: 10 steps forward and back, keeping hips low and core engaged.

This workout fits perfectly into busy schedules and helps overcome fatigue while promoting better body composition.

Want more of these workouts along with a comprehensive plan? My 8-week Metabolic Reset program is designed for busy individuals seeking effective results without feeling overwhelmed.

I believe in “work smarter, not harder,” especially when it comes to fitness and nutrition.

Here’s a key takeaway from physics: it’s easier to keep going than to start. Once you get moving, momentum builds—this is known as the “Law of Big Mo.”

Your tip: Accept that getting started takes effort, but once you do, keep the momentum going.

If you feel off track, make a healthy choice right away—whether it’s a nutritious meal or a workout. This helps you regain your momentum quickly, avoiding the trap of waiting too long to get back on track.

This principle applies to everyone, including busy people who want to improve energy and body composition without feeling overwhelmed.

As September approaches, it’s the perfect time to refine your nighttime routine.

Your morning is often determined by what you do the night before. A chaotic start can lead to a stressful day—an experience many of us know too well.

For instance, if I don’t prepare for the next day, my mornings feel rushed and chaotic. A solid nighttime routine helps you wind down and sets you up for a smoother tomorrow.

Here’s what I include in my routine:

Prepare everything needed for work.

Check that meals are planned or prepped.

Follow through with self-care routines.

Aim for an early bedtime.

When I stick to my nighttime routine, I sleep better, setting me up for a more productive day.

By focusing on manageable habits, you can shift from survival mode to thrive mode.

You know those nights when cooking is the last thing you want to do?
This is the recipe I make for those nights.
It's easy, packed with protein, and the leftovers make lunch a no-brainer.

🍲 Chicken and White Bean Stew
Serves 4

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 yellow onion, finely chopped
5 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
1 tsp dried thyme
Red pepper flakes to taste
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 cups (960ml) chicken broth
2 (15oz / 425g) cans cannellini beans, drained
1 bunch kale, escarole, or another dark leafy green, stems removed and leaves coarsely chopped

1️⃣ Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until softened and golden, about 8 to 10 minutes.

2️⃣ Add chicken, broth, and white beans. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until chicken is cooked through (165°F / 74°C), about 10 to 14 minutes.

3️⃣ Transfer chicken to a bowl. Smash some beans against the side of the pot to thicken the broth. Stir in the greens and simmer uncovered while you shred the chicken.

4️⃣ Shred chicken with two forks. Stir back into the stew and season to taste.

Now, imagine repeating that day for 50 days. Where would you be?

Would you be:

🚢 Further away?

These questions highlight how daily habits accumulate over time—not just in fitness, but in all aspects of life, including energy and mood.

So, where do you want to be in 50 days? Think about your goals, whether it’s fitting into your favorite clothes, feeling more energized, or improving body composition.

Identify 1-2 simple steps you can take today to get closer to that vision. Shift your mindset from waiting for the perfect moment to focusing on progress over perfection. Remember, a missed workout doesn’t have to derail your journey!
