Let’s have a little fun! Here’s a word of the year idea puzzle…

If you need a little inspiration for your 2026 Word of the Year… I’ve got you covered.

Find a word that feels true to where you are and represents who you are becoming.

Because when life gets busy (and it will!), your word becomes the anchor that keeps you tethered to what matters.

Scroll through this list and see which one sparks something.

And if you’ve already chosen your word, drop me a DM and let me know what it is!

What’s your 2026 word? Here’s mine: "THRIVE".

Back when I first started my coaching business, guess what dropped to the bottom of the list?

My own workouts and self-care.

I was so focused on taking care of everyone else that I stopped taking care of me! 🤦

As a busy parent juggling family, work, and so much more, it can be tempting to think you’ll get to your own self-care later.

Spoiler: later usually ends up being MUCH later, after you’ve already started to pay the price!

For me, it started with missed workouts, quick grab-and-go meals, and pushing through even when I was exhausted...

Eventually, it showed in my energy and mindset. (Not to mention the dark circles under my eyes!)

The first step: I let go of the belief that putting myself last was somehow the noble thing to do.

Because when you burn yourself out trying to do everything for everyone, you have nothing left to give... not even to the people who matter most.

If that’s the cycle you’ve been stuck in, this is your invitation to break it.

Drop a 💬 if this resonates or DM me “READY” if you’re done putting yourself last and you’re ready to finally make your health a priority in 2026.

Resolutions don’t create change… habits do!

For busy parents, the easiest way to set yourself up for a stronger 2026 isn’t with a crash plan.
It’s with consistent daily deposits.

Small steps lead you to big results later.

Kickstart Your New Year with Simple Goal-Setting Strategies!

As we approach a brand-new year, it's the perfect time to think about your goals for 2026. Did you know that people have been making New Year's resolutions for over 4,000 years? While the tradition is ancient, you don’t need a massive overhaul to make this upcoming year incredible.

Start by laying the groundwork with a few straightforward steps that won’t overwhelm you. Here are five strategies I recommend:

Reflect First: Take 10 minutes this week to jot down what worked and what didn’t in 2025. Understanding your habits and routines can make change feel more manageable.
Pick 1-2 Anchor Habits: Instead of a lengthy resolution list, identify 1-2 foundational actions—like drinking more water or getting consistent sleep—that will keep you on track, even when life gets busy.
Create an Environment for Success: Set yourself up for success now. Clear out snacks that don’t serve your goals, lay out your workout gear, or prep easy meals.
Add Accountability: Whether it’s a workout buddy, a coach, or a simple reminder on your calendar, build a support system that keeps you motivated.
If you’re ready to create a personalized plan for 2026 that feels energizing and achievable, drop a "READY" in the comments! Let’s work together to make this year your best one yet.

It’s tempting to curl up and stay indoors all winter, but even a quick walk outside has lots of healthy benefits for busy parents.

🌬️ The cold air wakes you up and feels refreshing. Especially if you get hot flashes.
⏱️ You can often exercise longer without overheating, boosting your endurance.
☀️ Sunlight supports mood, vitamin D, and your sleep cycles.
🛡️ Regular exercise outdoors strengthens your immune system.

💬 Do you love winter walks, or do you need a little push to get out the door?

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁? 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝘆!

We’ve all been there: you miss a workout and the guilt starts to creep in. But here’s the truth—you can bounce back quickly without letting a missed session derail your progress.

First, take a deep breath. Missing workouts is totally normal, and it happens to everyone. What matters is how you respond. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, focus on taking one small step forward.

Start with your next scheduled workout, or even opt for a quick 15-20 minute session if you’re short on time. The key is to refocus on consistency rather than perfection. Remember, you’re only one workout away from getting back into your routine.

I always tell my clients that you’re not defined by a few missed sessions. You’re on a journey, and it’s about progress over perfection. Even a short walk or a quick strength session can help reignite your momentum.

If you’re looking for simple strategies that fit easily into your busy life—so you never feel like you’re constantly starting over—let’s connect! Drop a "READY" in the comments or send me a message, and I’ll share how I help clients build realistic plans that stick, no matter what life throws their way.

How do you typically feel right before dinner? For many busy parents, it’s often a mix of being rushed, mentally drained, or just plain exhausted. This can lead to mindless snacking, overeating, or cravings for sugar and wine afterward.

But what if you could completely change how you approach your meals? Here’s a quick 2-minute reset that can transform your dinner experience:

Your 2-Minute Pre-Dinner Reset Ritual:

Set a timer for 60 seconds.
Breathe in for 4 counts, hold for 4, and exhale for 6.
Repeat for a minute or two.
This simple breathing technique helps shift your body out of “fight or flight” mode, allowing your system to digest food more effectively and reducing bloating.

For those dealing with emotional eating or poor digestion, this ritual can be a game changer. It’s an easy habit that fits seamlessly into your busy life, helping you feel calm and ready to enjoy your meal.

Try it tonight and notice the difference!

If you want more simple habits that fit your hectic schedule and support your wellness journey, drop a "READY" in the comments, and let’s make sure you thrive this holiday season.
