When you’re sick, your nervous system regulation starts here — not with just more rest. 🎨
Grab a pen and paper. Intentional drawing is your creative outlet. That’s emotional fitness.
This is not therapy. This is not meditation. This is intentional creativity for women who are done pushing through and ready to move through instead.
Because emotional fitness isn’t about fixing how you feel. It’s about giving it somewhere to go.

Sick and scrolling isn’t rest.
Your body needs something different.
🎨 Creative healing for when you’re exhausted — sewing, drawing, or just pen and paper.
This is what emotional fitness looks like in real life.
Not perfect. Not performative.
Just you, reconnecting with yourself through your hands.
Note: you don’t need watercolor. Markers, pencils, pen and paper — any creative tool works. Same technique, same reset.
That’s what Let’s Cut the Scrap is about — using creativity to process, regulate, and come back to yourself.
💬 What do you reach for when you’re not feeling your best?
When words aren’t enough, your body still needs to express. 🎨
Emotion is energy in motion. When it flows with intention it becomes your most powerful tool for healing and self expression.
Stagnant emotions keep you stuck. Moving without intention creates chaos. But intentional creativity — that generates emotional fitness.
There is a method to this. And it starts with understanding that emotion is energy in motion.
That’s the journey from holding it all in to finally letting it out.
That’s what Let’s Cut the Scrap is about — using creativity as a tool to process, regulate, and come back to yourself.
💬 Save this for the next time words aren’t enough. What would you create right now?
I made this while sick. Strep throat. Sinus infection. Ear infection. Prednisone. The whole thing.
And instead of just scrolling and complaining — I created.
Not because I had energy. Not because I felt inspired. But because I know that if you heal the body and don’t heal the mind, the body will get sick again. And again.
This is a watercolor contour technique I learned volunteering at the MD Anderson Cancer Center art space — where creativity helps patients and caregivers process the unprocessable.
You don’t need perfect materials. I used 150g multipurpose paper. It warped. The tape bled. I followed it anyway.
That’s emotional fitness. Not perfect. Not forced. Just following what forms.
📝 Any creative tool works — markers, pencils, pen and paper. Same reset.

selfawareness
I use quilting to train my brain to decide — and the goal is to make it with ease. In this clip, I’m training my nervous system to feel safe choosing.
It’s a journey of self-improvement, my friend, where each stitch helps with neuroplasticity and raises our awareness so we feel confident with our choices.
For this one I’m doodle quilting using a regular presser foot (and yes — it works beautifully with a darning foot + free motion quilting too).
Fun fact: this is another nugget pulled from my first live (tech was messy 😅) — but the practice was too good to lose.
Question: what do you do when you’re not sure what to do next?
(Full combined practice on my YouTube channel) 💖✨
Good morning. We just finished a live creative practice and look at this sunrise. If life feels cloudy today, don’t fight it—keep moving gently. One small creative choice is enough. Have a beautiful day.
Today was my first live creative practice… and tech had opinions 😅
Mic cutting out, recording acting up — but we stitched anyway.
Because creativity isn’t about perfect production.
It’s about showing up.
And choosing— in real time— how you carry life.
This is the piece that came out of it. 🤍🧵
I have one 1:1 mentorship spot open this month.

Question: What’s one thing you’ve been trying to carry differently—but keep defaulting back to the same old pattern?
If this landed, this is the kind of work I do.
I help women reshape how they carry life experiences through creativity—so they repattern how they show up in love, work, and life without self-editing or shrinking.
I have one private coaching spot open this month.
If you’re ready to stop self-editing to make others comfortable, apply through the link in my bio.

Art has a way of holding us when words can’t.
Today, two beautiful souls joined me for a spontaneous watercolor session. No names, no expectations—just colors, brushes, and a quiet invitation to feel. 🎨✨
Watching them paint reminded me why this matters so deeply. Watercoloring is becoming a powerful addition to Let’s Cut the Scrap—not just for its beauty, but for the way it gently reveals what words can’t say.
Because creativity isn’t just fun—it’s medicine for the soul, especially in moments of deep care, grief, and transformation.
