The JET-PAC is a musical theatre and dance academy in Houston, TX. Our instructors are fully qualified and knowledgeable in their areas of study and teaching.

Mission
The JET-PAC is committed to providing the foundation and training for students to become Well Rounded Artists while evaluating and developing each individual’s inherent strengths and weaknesses to their maximum potential. The Academy specializes in quality instruction and training in many areas of visual and performance art with a specific emphasis on dance, acting, and vocal performance.

Philosophy
The JET-PAC philosophy is rooted in our unique commitment to each of the artistic paths equally. You will receive dance training ONLY from working, professional dancers and choreographers, acting training ONLY from working, professional actors, and voice training ONLY from working, professional singers. No exceptions. Another important philosophy of ours is that Musical Theatre is a complex art, combining several disciplines into one. If a student has not established a strong foundation in each of the arts separately, it's unrealistic to expect them to succeed at being proficient at all three at the same time. Musical Theatre classes are offered in the upper levels of the W.R.A.P. and collaboratively taught by one Teaching Artist of each art. Musical Theatre prep classes are still available for all ages and skill levels through our Just JUX program. Our Teaching Artists
At The JET-PAC, we encourage and celebrate our Teaching Artist's professional endeavors and value and share their successes in their fields. Every Teaching Artist at our Academy is required to continue their education and training outside of the academy and professional company. While other institutions normally expect their instructors to put their performance careers second to their Academy’s teaching schedule, we believe that inhibits and plateaus a Teaching Artist's skills and ability to grow as performers and educators. Artists are never done learning and every single one of our Juxtapose Teaching Artists will be held to the highest standard and expected to continue developing their skills while making outside connections and bringing those experiences back to our Academy for the benefit of our students.

Happy Sunday!!!

Our next senior is Brendon Romell!!

Brendon’s advice for someone on their first day of class is : “be yourself because authenticity is the center of everything. I have made countless, beautiful memories at JET-PAC because the community has supported me for who I am.”

In the fall Brendon will be earning his BFA at the University of Central Florida!

We are so proud of you Brendon and will miss you much!

Our next senior is Cara Merkle ✨🩰

Cara has been a member of our JETPAC family for 3 years!!!

Cara’s advice for new students is: “Don’t be afraid to try new things! The idea of performing on stage seemed like the scariest thing for me but now it has become such an important part of my life and one of my favorite things to do. I have grown so much as a performer and a person by challenging myself and stepping out of my comfort zone!”

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who do it all 💐

To our studio moms: thank you for the early mornings, the late-night rehearsals, the car rides, the constant encouragement, and for always being our biggest cheerleaders. We wouldn’t be who we are without you.

And to the moms we’ve met on stage… from the loving to the complicated to the downright chaotic, every story reminds us just how powerful motherhood can be (some better than others, but iconic all the same).
