Finished off the 2023-2024 season at AAUs in Orlando with “Coach Reachert” since we played 17s not 18s and then a trip to Universal and Disney for our condo crew!

Tournament yesterday with this crazy group! Had some struggles at first but learned a lot and ended with a good, solid win! It has been a challenging season with three people quitting already, but lineup is finally getting settled and starting to work well! So, things are looking better and lots of invaluable life lessons have already been learned!

So proud of honorary Kaboomer, Maddie Prois, for signing to play beach volleyball at Eckerd College!
Even though Maddie stopped playing indoor ball before she could ever officially play ball at Kaboom, she has been a beloved honorary Kaboom family member since the moment she walked through our doors years ago!
We are SO PROUD OF YOU, Maddie, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you do at Eckerd!!! We love you, sweet girl!!!

This season’s gear package (minus uniforms since we are implementing an “earn your jersey by being a great teammate” program)! All printed and customized by yours truly.
On our socks and jerseys this season, we will be wearing three memorial symbols - one for one of our player’s dad who passed earlier this year and two grandparents recently lost. We will also be wearing ribbon colors for all of our Kaboom family members and extended family members battling and/or finally conquering cancers of different types. And then we are wearing a red ribbon color in support of a beloved former Kaboom dad who suffered a massive stroke and is battling hard in the start of his recovery.
Here’s to the start of Kaboom season 19 and my 31st year of coaching…where has the time gone?!
