One of the key mindset shifts I’ve learned on my wellness journey is this:

Healthy eating isn’t really about weight loss.
It’s about alignment.

As a community, we talk a lot about honoring God with our bodies.

But what does that actually look like?

•It looks like choosing foods that support the energy, strength, focus, and health we need to live out our purpose.

•It looks like viewing food as fuel and nourishment rather than simply comfort, convenience, or calories.

The foods we eat directly impact:
✨ Energy levels
✨ Blood sugar balance
✨ Hormone health
✨ Recovery
✨ Sleep quality
✨ Mental clarity

When we’re consistently undernourished,
overeating processed foods,
or skipping meals,

it becomes harder for our bodies to function the way they were designed.

That’s why eating clean isn’t about restriction.

It’s about replenishment.

It’s about giving your body the nutrients it needs to thrive so you can show up fully for your family,
your calling,
your work,
and your community.

And no, this doesn’t require perfection.

It just requires intentionality.

Every time you choose protein over processed snacks, water over sugary drinks,
or a balanced meal over convenience,
you’re making a small investment in your future health.

Those choices add up.

Because breakthrough rarely comes from extreme measures.

It comes from consistent alignment between our faith, our habits, and our purpose. 🙌🏽

One of the most common questions I get is:

“Are they FDA approved?” 👀

But what most people are really asking is:

“Are they safe?”

“Can I trust what I’m putting in my body?”

“Should I be cautious?”

And honestly?

YES. You should ask questions. You should care about what you consume. I do too. 🙌🏽

But here’s where a lot of confusion happens…

Most dietary supplements are NOT “FDA approved” the way pharmaceutical drugs are.

That includes things people take every single day like:

protein powder, creatine, electrolytes, fish oil, collagen, melatonin, vitamins, and many wellness supplements.

So when I evaluate products, I’m looking at things like:

✔️ Ingredient sourcing

✔️ Research

✔️ Manufacturing standards

✔️ Transparency

✔️ Testing

✔️ How the ingredients actually support the body

Our bioactive peptides are also GRAS recognized — meaning the ingredients are Generally Recognized As Safe.

And there’s a BIG difference between synthetic pharmaceutical peptides and naturally derived bioactive peptides designed to support wellness naturally.

“FDA approved” does not automatically mean healthy.

And “not FDA approved” does not automatically mean unsafe.

Education matters.

Context matters.

And informed decisions matter.

I’ll always encourage people to ask questions, do research, and make the best decisions for THEIR body and health goals. ❤️

But don’t let fear-based information on the internet keep you stuck, exhausted, inflamed, frustrated, or afraid to explore tools that may actually support your wellness journey.

And because we keep it real over here… 😅

that drive-thru meal or coffee people consume daily probably isn’t exactly getting the gold standard approval either 🤌🏽 just saying.

Grace doesn’t weaken discipline—it sustains it.

💭 So many people try to change through guilt or shame—but grace is what actually keeps you going.
Grace says, “You can try again.”
Grace says, “Progress counts.”
Grace says, “You’re still loved here.”

When discipline is rooted in grace, it becomes sustainable—and transformation follows.

❤️ Grace reduces stress and perfectionism, making consistency easier and recovery more effective.

We Completed the annual
Murph Challenge today 🇺🇸💪🏽

And honestly… this one meant a lot. ❤️

Huge shoutout to my hubby and one of my good friends who encouraged me through every rep, every mile, and every moment I wanted to slow down.

Community matters. 🙌🏽
Even if it’s just 2 or 3!

Over the last several years, I’ve been on a journey to overcome perimenopause while becoming stronger, healthier, and more resilient from the inside out.

So even when the scale doesn’t seem to move much… THIS is the kind of progress that fires me up 🔥

Because one of the things I’m most proud of today?
I improved my overall Murph time by 36 minutes from last year. 😭🙌🏽

Not because it was easy.
But because it’s proof that progress is about so much more than a number on the scale.

The Murph is more than a workout.
It’s a reminder of sacrifice, courage, grit, and honoring those who gave everything in service to others.

Today I’m just deeply grateful — for a stronger body, a stronger spirit, supportive people beside me, and another opportunity to honor God with my life and health. ❤️
