More schools have dropped the sport of lacrosse due to costs. This need not ever happen. The list has been growing, and how much longer should we let the bleeding occur?
We can offer virtually any school the chance to field a lacrosse team that almost everyone can afford.

Texas Collegiate Lacrosse League The Texas Collegiate Lacrosse League (TCLL) seeks to provide spirited intercollegiate lacrosse competition on a highly-affordable basis.
We began the process of introducing college lacrosse aspirants to a low cost, low barrier to entry answer to college lacrosse. We are talking about results that include more college programs, more players, more games, and more competition and fun. Period.
Events beyond our control got in our way for a while, but we're back. Ours is a winning formula....one that can allow more students to play more games both with and against other schools.
No matter how large or small a school may be, be it 20,000 students or 500, we can talk college lacrosse.
Not exactly sure how your program is going to do coming out of COVID restrictions? Concerned for a disruption in activity, manpower, or funding? Maybe we can assist in getting your program back up off the mat! Contact us if you have any questions.
Okay....we never really went away, but a great deal of the college game did. As schools and programs recover, our doors are open!
No school is too big or too small, too experienced or too inexperienced. Our job is to assist as many colleges and universities play the sport of lacrosse in the most affordable and fun way possible. If you know of a school that needs help picking itself up- or back up- we can help!
The TCLL is open for business!
With so many questions heading into the 2021 season, as well as so much uncertainty, it's nice to know that the TCLL is there to help serve the sport and your school's program, at whatever point it is currently at.
If you are a program that is trying to get restarted, or a new program tackling lacrosse for the first time, the TCLL is dedicated to removing as many barriers as possible to assist your student-athletes in getting onto the field.
Please let us know your questions!
All across the nation, we are hearing about more and more seasons cancelled, more and more sports being eliminated from more and more schools.
With the TCLL, that need not be a worry. We are designing college lacrosse to be affordable for both players and schools so that virtually any school, of any size, can field a lacrosse team.
With the pause in the action and the uncertainty surrounding us, now is a GREAT time to examine the possibilities of starting a college lacrosse team at low, affordable costs designed to maximize participation. Make that call....send that email....ask those questions. Get the ball rolling at your school or a school near you.
The whole COVID 19 "adventure" that has dominated the headlines these past few months has greatly affected collegiate sports, for sure. Each school and each league, across the board in many sports, has been making plans to either not play for now, or to play on a reduced basis.
It is what it is. No sense in debating the merits on this, one way or the other.
Still, we at the TCLL look at this as an opportunity, in a way.
This buys us a little bit of time, time to make sure that any new programs properly have their legs beneath them. Time to make new contacts and engage in discussions that can eventually bring about new college programs.
Time is now an asset as opposed to a deadline, although deadlines do work well. Combined with our low-cost approach, this enables us to go about our business in a methodical way and make sure that we can welcome new teams aboard with the right expectations.
Let's all use this time to great affect. What programs that currently exist need us. What future programs can we help facilitate. Its all about the lacrosse.
The whole premise behind the existence for the Texas Collegiate Lacrosse League is a simple one- for college students to be able to experience the sport of lacrosse at their school on an affordable basis. Many players and many schools are automatically eliminated from participation due to
high costs demanded by other entities. Our goal is not to be
"cheap", but inexpensive. There is a big difference.
In this way, virtually ANY school of any size can have a lacrosse team and play. From a 3-year old school with 600 students to an established school of 35,000. All you need is
enough, and the chances of consistently having enough go up sharply when its affiordable.
Universities....colleges.....community and junior colleges....any and all schools welcome. Please take a look around you. There may be a school within a few minutes of where you live with students who have no idea they can have the chance to play.
The TCLL will begin planning for the 2021 season starting right now!
We are currently in the process of identifying colleges for whom our approach and cost structure makes a great deal of sense. We have already received some positive feedback from some surprising sources. This doesn't surprise us, because the approach we are taking will always have an appeal to many schools. Not all, mind you, but definitely some.
We are also firming up the TCLL's relationship with the Gulf Coast Lacrosse Association (GCLA). Such a "partnership" will help both organizations, of course. The GCLA, a 25-year old semipro club league, contains numerous youth and high school coaches among its playing ranks. With such connections, many more high school players will be aware of the TCLL and what it has to offer.
In addition, TCLL players will now have a clear idea of where they can play semipro ball after their college days. Its a win-win relationship that should reap dividends not only for both leagues, but for lacrosse overall.
The TCLL is dedicated to removing the so many of the barriers to putting a team on the field. High costs....high travel demands....high league dues.....high mandatory uniform costs....and on and on. We have discovered ways in which virtually any school, of any size, can have a fulfilling college lacrosse experience at merely a low fraction of the cost of other college lacrosse platforms.
