Cave Early Childhood Institution - A School Adoption

We are back in Jamaica attending to things that we need to get back up and running at the school..

Good night one and all, let me hope everyone is staying safe and taking the neccessary precautions. I just want to update you on what is presently happening. School is closed however we are in touch with our children and parents daily via WhatsApp and sometimes we have to travel to some of our children who are not equipped with the the facility of internet. We have to provide instructions, explanation and daily activities for our children with the help of their parents. It has been very challenging but in order to ensure that our children are mobilized and a breast we take several risk knowing that God is able to protect. Our children and parents are facing several challenges and as we spoke daily, I have to constantly inform them of ways they can move forward. Encouraging them to stay strong and that this two will past. It is not easy but we are fighting along. God bless you all, stay strong 🌻😀👍👍👍

Hat and socks day at school. Prizes will be given for creativity. We have a selected five, those hats are made by parents, so we will select the winner from those.

The Children and Community they serve are very lucky to have them.

Now that school is completely built, we will focus on raising funds for the first time, to create a food program for the children, Siphons to help the staff, and to help with the electricity , water, maintenance and such.

Leigh Anne Maynier will help lead these efforts with our support.

This project the last six years has been fun to help bring together.
I want to THANK everyone who has been involved so far.
There are many of you.

The children in the small and remote community of Cave, Westmoreland, Jamaica have a school that is the best equipped within 100 miles.

Oh wow !!! The Burchfields will be on their way here tomorrow,February 29th 2020 they are bringing lots and lots of supplies for the school, from games of all types, starioneries, glue etc. and several other things. We get regular supplies from time to time. If you come in contact with them show your gratitude as they endeavor to assist our future generation, the children, the most vulnerable in our society.

Christmas party for our children

Our children Christmas party was one with a difference. The children had fun and they really appreciated their little goody bag.
