By far my favorite meet I’ve done! Can’t wait to show you more pictures later. I PR’d both my squat and deadlift and matched my previous meet PR on bench. Shoutout to Coach for making me do hip thrusts every week since March. They most definitely got me through that last deadlift!

In exactly 24 hours I’ll be under the bar starting to squat at my second powerlifting meet this year. Training this time was super personal and I did my best to block out so much negative noise. I’m stronger now because of it 💪🏾

We’re not gonna just gloss over the fact that people in all sizes of bodies, can be affected by disordered eating. It’s sometimes a silent struggle that many face. When we comment on people’s bodies (negatively or positively) or make assumptions about the food someone else is eating it can be harmful to others. Sooooo if we’re talking about health, let’s talk about every aspect. And to the people telling me how many calories I “should” be eating in my comments, the numbers you’re using are actually studied to be enough for a TODDLER. So, let’s leave that work to a registered dietitian to handle 😉
