As coaches we can impact people life’s in so many different ways; take time to know your players and families it will make the journey a lot more fun and in the long run you’ll have friends/extended family forever
Same goes with coaches; network and get to know each other let’s grow this sport together and make tennis a fun sport for everyone to enjoy for a lifetime

Watch an infielder in baseball or an outfielder, the moment the pitcher is about to make the pitch they’re ready.
In tennis I tell all my players the moment you see the ball off the opponents racquet get the racquet ready and you will have time to make a better decision and much better ex*****on.
One of the main causes for lack of control in players is lack of preparation, they take the racquet back to late and forces them to rush the racquet to contact “Bye Bye controlling the shot”
I’m not a Serena fan “never was” but she was the best at getting the racquet back early allowing her to crush the ball most of the time cause she had plenty of time.
The game will never slow down but you can make it seem slower by getting prepared on time
