I’m back home, sipping a cold brew and still thinking about Seattle. Float Fest stop #3 on Lake Union was one I’ll never forget.

I’ll be honest… I wasn’t expecting the cold or the wind! Coming from 100° Texas, that Seattle weather woke me up. But what amazed me wasn’t the forecast, it was the people.

Hundreds of you showed up anyway.

You fought the wind, floated together, danced to incredible sets from Evan Giia, Good Humans, and Odakai , and reminded me exactly why we started Float Fest in the first place. Adventure isn’t about perfect conditions. It’s about saying YES to the experience.

A huge thank you to Eric, Nicole, lakeunionconcerts and Seattle Paddle Rave for putting together such an incredible event. You made us feel right at home.

Now we’re heading to the complete opposite corner of the country…

📍August 22 — Miami Float Fest with Paddle Palooza!

We’ll be taking over Biscayne Bay at Maurice Gibb Park, and Brad and the Paddlepalooza crew are bringing the energy. If Seattle was any indication, this one is going to be unforgettable.

If people were willing to drive and fly to Seattle, I know Miami is going to be something special. I’d love to see you there.

And while we’re at it… I’m already dreaming about the 2027 Float Fest Tour.

Where should we go next?

I’m thinking places from San Diego all the way to New York and New Jersey but I want to hear from YOU.

We challenged him with four boating trivia questions at the Houston Boat Show, and he came ready. From starboard to the Brazos River, he proved he’s got some serious nautical knowledge.

Safe to say he earned his Adventure = Life hat. 🧢
