Oh beautiful Canada…Banff, Jasper Glacier, Lake Louise, Canmore and Waterton….we so enjoyed this area!!! Back to the states and on to Glacier National Park we go!

Had an amazing gravel bike ride in Canmore, AB. The path was through a bear conservatory. We had bear spray and didn’t see any bears which we are okay with. Although, we did talk way more and much louder than ever before on a bike ride. Once we relaxed a bit we could enjoy the incredible views!!!

Our sweet Fairway has gone to doggie heaven. Love you sweet boy. Say Hi to Henree, Hank, Dallas and Houston. First time in 31 yrs we don’t have a dog. We are truly empty nesters now. Fairway was 15, truly loved and will be missed.

Back now. But had a blast in Washington. I do miss it. Hiking one day, skiing the next with fresh powder and then a night with the ladies learning how to make sour dough bread. Yes, I brought my starter home. What a great week. Man I wish I had mountains closer to me!

So much fun at Snow Bird women only Ski Camp! So happy to have a ski buddy ! Thank you for inviting me. I learned so much and my skiing went from trying to get control to enjoy the control. Thank you to our instructor Alexis!!!

OMG!!!! So good, lactose free, and doesn’t cause me any gastro intestinal issues. Finally get to have ice cream again.

Got my new helmet! And got back on the trails today. Happy to be back out!

I would say I am an avid cyclist. I have ridden bikes since I was very young. I have done several hundred milers and 3 Ironmans. I shouldn’t fall on a bike. But things happen, usually in a split second. This is the 2nd time I have cracked a helmet in my life. The first time the ER doctor said I would have been dead without it. This time the doctor said “Thank God, you had a helmet on”. I do thank God for protecting me every day. I’m an active person. Injuries are part of being active. I’m okay with the concussion. I’m not okay with people dying b/c helmets don’t look good. Be like me and wear your helmet! Yes, even if it’s just to the mailbox or end of the street.
