We would have done this weeks ago, however, we are still to this day receiving prize packs from all over. We had also planned to make a detailed post breaking down the 2nd and 3rd place prizes, but due to the fact that we will still be receiving prizes up to the day of the event we have decided to just post pictures of all of the prizes we have received so far. We will, of course, announce the 2nd and 3rd place prizes on Friday after we open the doors.

We announced our 1st place prize weeks ago, but just in case you missed it, Vertex RC USA and Yokomo have stepped up to the plate in a big way to give the inaugural USRC Drift Champion a purple SXII chassis kit! That's $600 worth of chassis to the lucky winner!!!!👀🤩👀🤩

We will also have door prizes and giveaways, as well as, some raffles so just about everyone should be able to walk away with something!

To clear any incoming questions, we have an official event schedule here now! Driver Groups will be announced within the next couple days, along with an explanation as to how they will work. Please read through fully before asking questions.

Friday: Open Driving. No clips will be placed, judges will not be discussing the line with any competitors. Practice Tires availble for purchase if needed.

Saturday, Qualifying Day:
9/10am - Open, competition tires handed out and allowed to be used on track upon sign-in.
12pm, Noon - Track Closed for Drivers Meeting, clips will be placed. Open practice immediately afterwards.
3:45pm - Group 1 Tech, track still open
4:00pm - Group 1 Practice, Group 2 Technical Inspection.
4:15pm - Group 1 Qualifying. Immediately after, Group 2 will start their 15 minute practice and Group 3 will have technical inspection.

Once qualifying is over the track will be Open to everyone, fun comps will take place.

Sunday, Battle Day:
9/10am - Open
12pm, Noon - Battle Drivers meeting. Track will be closed during drivers meeting.
2pm - Body Contest
4pm - Beginning of competition bracket
6pm - Top 16 through to Finals
8pm - Award Ceremony

Competition week is finally upon us guys and gals!!! We hope everyone is feeling well and getting tuned up and ready for a fun weekend of drifting and hanging out!!! We are beyond excited to meet everyone and can't wait to hit the track!!!!😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩

We apologize for not posting anything for 11 days as we are all super busy trying to make sure that we have all of our ducks in a row so this event goes off without a hitch. Going forward for this week please understand that we will be working around the clock to make this event happen so if we don't make any posts here until the event starts please understand that it's because we are busy making sure this event will be everything we all want it to be! If you have any questions or concerns from now until the day of the event PLEASE message us and we will answer them asap!

TRACK LAYOUT
We have had a few questions about track layout. In the interest of leveling the playing field the track layout will not be known to anyone outside of the judges and the set up crew. The idea is to make sure that no one has any advantage by knowing the layout prior to competition. The track will be built Thursday and will be open to the public on Friday without the competition clipping points so everyone can get used to the surface and the basic layout of the track. As we mentioned in a previous post the competition clipping points will not be laid out until competition time. The surface is polished concrete and we will be providing 1 set of 4 DS Racing FFFF's with your registration that are to be used for competition only as explained in our rule set that is pinned to the top of our page.

PICTURES OF THE VENUE
We've had a few people asking about pictures of the venue and as we explained yesterday, we do not have any pictures at this time due to the fact that the construction of this new location for RC Garage is still happening as we speak so pictures will not do anyone any good. Rest assured however that construction will be completed by Friday and when we open the doors everyone both competitors and non-competitors are welcome to come and check out the new shop as this event will serve as a soft grand opening for the new RC Garage!!!

PIT AREAS/TABLES AND CHAIRS
We've had some concerns about the pit areas and tables as well. Since we have so many people flying in from all over the country we decided it would be in everyone's best interest to just rent more than enough tables and chairs to accommodate everyone and then some! Those of you that are driving that we're struggling with room for your tables you can leave them at home if you like because we will have you covered!

TOOLS
There should be more than enough tools in the building to fix anything that should need to be fixed. I can't speak to the soldering iron 100%, but I am 99.9% sure Stan will have a soldering station available for use also. While we definitely encourage everyone to bring what they will need we also understand the restrictions of air travel so if you need anything specific please don't hesitate to message us and let us know so we can help the best way possible. I will personally be loading in a vast majority of my workbench for this event so if you need something the chances that I have it are going to be very high.

As we mentioned when we announced the cutoff date the price for registration at the door is $55 and it will still come with a set of DS Racing Mark II FFFF's (for competition use only) and your USRCDC key chain. We will have practice tires available for purchase as well!👀😃😎
