Massachusetts Announces Suspension of For-Hire Fishing - On The Water In a letter to Massachusetts for-hire fishing permit holders dated April 27, 2020, The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries announced the suspension of all for-hire fishing operations.

I can not go out nor is anyone even allowed to enter the Nantasket Beach Saltwater Club where I will be mooring my boat this year and that is only after they open I get my new mooring and can schedule a launch date. So please free to schedule a charter date with the hope that we will be able to figure out a way to cruise again shortly after this form of marshal law is lifted.
The boat is ready but as you can see from the post below we are prohibited from for hire. ReelBusiness is shutdown thanks to our gubment. And I’d like to tell you what they can do with their so far empty promise of a measly $1200 check but I’ll get in trouble. Don’t give up your constitutional rights for anything much less a virus.

In Mass the for-hire boating activities, including for-hire fishing, are prohibited while the stay at home order is in effect. The current order is scheduled to end on May 4 and Gov Baker indicated today that he will address this later in the week. Accordingly, DMF has issued generic permit conditions to all for-hire permit holders restricting for-hire
