On Saturday, Juniper Glenn took on Union County Saddle Clubs Hunter Show and let me tell you - it was a special one.

An A+ student who has been with us for a while now has been dreaming of her horse show debut, and thankfully we were able to make that dream come true.

Kaitlyn Klann piloted Juniper Glenn’s very own Spoonful of Sugar through their first Walk / Trot Poles division and absolutely rocked it! Their hard work in lessons truly paid off, earning them both wins over poles and great pieces of the hack classes out of 7. Overall ended up pulling out Reserve Champion!

We are beyond proud of this team. Not only has Kaitlyn put in the work inside and outside of lessons but Sugar has truly come full circle.

Sugar was purchased by Logan’s mom for Logan in 2012. Sugar was 4 and knew nothing and with Logan - they taught each other everything. Sugar took Logan all the way from Walk Trot to Pony Finals in 2017 and after years off to relax, she’s come right back to the ring without skipping a beat. Words can’t describe how thankful we are for Sugar and how loved she is by everyone who knows her ❤️

Congratulations to this absolutely adorable pair - this was a well earned win for a hard working and deserving kid & pony. Can’t wait to do it again!

Introducing Maximus 🌟

*A kind PSA before we get started. If you get the urge to comment about euthanasia, worst possible outcomes, or other negativity - please resist. I am more than aware of the risks and precautions that need to be taken to ensure a safe landing for Max. I would never allow any horse do be released into an unsafe or unreliable situation.*

Now onto the good stuff!

Max is a sparky senior (22-25yo) TB gelding standing around 16.1hh. He initially found his way to me by being disguised as a seasoned lesson horse. After his arrival, I had Max checked by my personal veterinary team and it was discovered that Max has a heart murmur. With this finding, we determined it was best to allow Max to retire, as we didn’t want to risk stressing the murmur by regular riding.

With that said, Max has NOT yet undergone an EKG which would could determine if any riding would be appropriate for Max. I personally believe Max has paid his riding dues and would be happiest serving as a companion or buddy horse - as he LOVES to have friends/pasture mates. He does well inside and outside as long as he has buddies, easy to get along with, and full of personality!

A large budget is not required as my biggest priority is finding Max a safe and loving home. Please PM or Message for questions, videos, or to schedule a visit!

🩶 Meet Max 🩶

Max is a senior (22-25yo) gelding who is looking for a soft place to retire.

I initially bought him to join my lesson program, however after having my vet take an overall glance, we found riding is just not best suited for him anymore. With that said I am still determined to find Max a comfortable and loving forever home! I would keep him myself, but I have 4 other performance horses on my bill right now.

Max has the sweetest and funniest personality. He really is like a dog: comes to his name, loves treats, and enjoys a good roll in the mud! Considering Max’s riding career is over, he would be best suited as at a retirement barn or if someone needs a companion! Max LOVES to be outside with his buddies but is a gentleman when it’s time to come in as well. He is UTD on all vaccinations and was just trimmed last week! All $$$ is VERY negotiable as I just want to see him happy and well taken care of!

I am so excited to say that this handsome dude has been cleared to go back to work!!!

Paiasolo (“Dempsey”) is back to walk/trot work and will be available for *half-price* partial or half lease beginning December 15th to help continue his rehab and get him back to work!

If you’re looking to get some saddle time this winter, and want access to an athletic, experienced eventer, this is your guy! No lesson requirement if you aren’t looking to eventually jump/compete, but both hunter/jumper and eventing trainers are available on-site if lessons are desired.
