Results from week #19: despite a rocky start of the tournament from Mother Nature we was able to get it in. Congratulations to 1st place Kenny Mcsweeney and Kyle Raines & for having big fish. 2nd went to Keith Cotton and Charlie Hulet , 3rd place went to Mr. Rick Adkins. Next tournament next Thursday 8/13 🐟🎣

Results from week #18: congratulations to Mr. Terry Adkins and son Dakota on the win and big fish. A 3 fish limit of 4.01lbs and big fish of 3.37lbs. 2nd place went to Kenny and Randell , 3rd place went to Austin Smith. Spring Valley Bass Fishing is making history again! Benjamin Gue (SVHS ’30) and William Gue (SVHS ’35) have earned a spot to compete in the Bassmaster Junior National Championship at Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee, representing both Spring Valley High School and the state of West Virginia.

They follow in the footsteps of our first Bassmaster Junior qualifiers, Parker Hamlin and Maddox Smith, who made history in 2024.

We are incredibly proud of these young anglers and this outstanding achievement. The future of SVHS Bass Fishing is bright! ✨🎣💙🐺✨

Results from week #17 the SVHS bass fishing team summer shootout. Oh wow what a great turnout 46 boats on such a beautiful evening to fish. Congratulations to Mr. Todd Chapman the winner of the summer shootout plus winner of the big fish award with a 3fish limit of 8.60 and big fish of 3.70 great job Todd. 2nd place went to Nick & Richard Elkins with 5.64lbs. I would to thank everyone who took time to come out and support the SVHS bass fishing team. Thank you to Jason Kazad and the Lavalette Volunteer fire department for coming out again this year and starting the tournament great job guys. Thank you to everyone who worked and help put this tournament on the team appreciates you all very much. 🐟🎣
