On the very first night, they were all a little nervous to pray together… and tonight they were begging to be the prayer warrior. Their hearts are blooming just as fast as their skills. 💛🙏

Trials do not destroy faith—they prove it. Like fire refining gold, pressure removes weakness and strengthens what remains. The result is proven faith, resilient joy, and courageous hope.

This is where mindset matters. Our identity is rooted in Christ. That identity shapes how Jesus’ followers respond to pressure. Instead of retreating from trials, they pursue God’s purpose through them with fire-tested resolve. Peter calls that response “joy”. Not shallow happiness but determined trust that keeps moving forward. Just as athletes push through soreness in training, believers push through obstacles in faith.

Faith-filled joy is unstoppable, overwhelming momentum. Obstacles don’t stop it—they are swallowed by it.

Instead of fearing pressure, Christians see it differently. Trials become tools that strengthen faith. Athletes know pressure well—losses, demanding coaches, injuries, criticism. In those moments, pressure reveals what’s really inside us.

But when athletes keep showing up, training, and trusting God, something changes. Pressure builds endurance. Hard moments refine motives. Obstacles strengthen discipline. Over time, faith grows stronger — and courage grows with it. Pressure doesn’t defeat faith—it trains it.

That’s why James wrote in James 1:2-3: “Consider it a great joy… because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance… so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.”

Our first Bible study night with the girls was so special. We spent time talking about the unique gifts God has placed in each of them and how those gifts can lift others up when they’re feeling discouraged. Watching them encourage one another and grow in confidence was such a sweet reminder that God is already working in their hearts. 💛✨
