Last Night started P11 in the A Feature, turn 1 of lap 1 avoided someone spinning in front of us but collected a few cars in the process. Lost our nose and tried to race on from the back. Pulled off with 5 to go, resulting in a DNF for the Feature. 🥴

Leaving Super Nats today sitting 21st in points out of 283 drivers. 💪🏼 We still have some season left in the 14 car so we decided to put her in the box and head home and not risk damage in the Last Chance Qualifier.✌️

So proud of this guy 💪🏼🔥Started P2 and patiently waited to move around the track for that number 1 spot. Got it done for the A Feature later tonight for our chance to qualify for tomorrow’s show!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Drew Boone Spoon P11 🩷

The Modifieds are on the track first today, so we won’t run until later on this afternoon. Holding our breath and crossing our fingers we can get this 14 car locked in to go dancing! 🤞🩷

Qualifying Day ✌️

This morning we finished “last nights” All Star Qualifying (3 laps for time) and missed it by .07🤏🏼🤬Hurts a little worse when you’re up and on the track at 3:30am 😅

Derrick will be back at it today trying to punch his ticket to the Big Dance 💃🏻 Racing starts at 1:00.

🔥Heat Race was looking decent for a second 😅…went P6 to P3, looking good. Car got tight coming into turn 4 with a few laps to go and sent us into the cushion and losing position. 🫠

🩷We will be in B Feature 1 later on starting P7 (for points only) and will try again tomorrow for qualifying!

⚡️Later tonight Derrick will also run All Star Qualifying.
