This Sunday we are holding an open practice / tryout. We are a first year 9U team this fall and we are very excited for this next step into kid pitch! 💪🏻

We have a very strong core of girls that have been playing together for many seasons now and we are looking to add a couple girls to the Aftershock family!

We’re excited to welcome Ace back to Aftershock 2036! 💙💛 She brings a great mix of determination, personality, and love for the game every time she steps on the field. We’re excited to see her continue to grow, challenge herself, and make an impact this season!

🎯 Goal for 2036: Get better and hopefully learn a new position—either SS or 1st!

Ace is always looking for ways to improve and take the next step in her game. Her willingness to learn new positions and challenge herself shows the kind of commitment and team-first attitude we love to see in an Aftershock player. And of course, having fun with her teammates and coaches along the way makes it even better!

She embraces the family atmosphere of Aftershock and continues to encourage those around her while working to improve her own game. ANOTHER RETURNING PLAYER FOR AFTERSHOCK 2036… MAELYN “MAE MAE” LEE! 💥

We’re excited to welcome back another hardworking competitor to the Aftershock family! 💙💛 Maelyn is ready to bring her energy, confidence, and big bat back to the field for another season.

🥎 Nicknames: Mae Mae & Maelyn G
🎵 Walk-Up Song: Cowgirls – Morgan Wallen
⭐ Looks Up To: God first, and her big brother. (Even though she says she hits better than him! 😂) She admires how hard he works to keep improving in every sport he plays.
💙 Favorite Thing About Softball: Hitting—especially home runs—making plays at third base, and cheering on her teammates.
🎯 Goal for 2036: Hit an over-the-fence home run, cut down on errors, and play more aggressive defense on every ball hit her way.

Whether she’s crushing the ball at the plate, making big plays at the hot corner, or bringing positive energy to the dugout, Maelyn plays with heart and determination. Her competitive spirit, love for her teammates, and desire to keep getting better make her a huge part of what Aftershock is all about.

We can’t wait to watch her chase that over-the-fence home run and make an impact on both sides of the game this season.
