USA SCOUT National Al 9u

The boys played up in a very competitive 10u tournament this past weekend. While we didn’t bring home hardware from a championship game this time, we brought home an immeasurable amount of experience to apply as we go back and finish up this 9u season! I’m proud of what these boys have accomplished up to this point and the way they have bought into the system and standard that we have put into place for them. We have some ballers on this squad! ⚾️💪🏼

These boys came out and set the tone at a loaded NCS State Championship in Albertville this weekend. We finished Saturday as the #1 seed, outscoring our opponents 29-4! They showed up today, and did not disappoint. We out scored our opponents 22-19, but ended up losing a tough championship game in extra innings by 1 run playing a bases loaded “Texas tie breaker”. I’m very proud of the way they competed! I told them at the end of the tournament that “I would take you boys anywhere, anytime, play anybody that wanted to play us, and expect to compete and win”…and I absolutely meant it. GREAT group of boys! I have nothing but high expectations as we close out the season over the next month!

It doesn’t matter who you are, what you coach, or even at what level…as a leader, I believe you’re only as good as those you surround yourself with throughout the process. Assistant coaches take on a vital role in making youth sports successful, both on and off the field. As head coach of the USA Scout National 9U team, I am very thankful for Ryan Frevert, Beau Brooks, and Sage Dombrowski. These dudes truly love these boys and no one fights harder for their success than we do. Thank you men for your help coaching, and more importantly thank you for being solid role models for our children! 💪🏼⚾️

Awesome day for the USA SCOUT NATIONAL 9U AL team yesterday! We started as we normally do, with a team meeting and time of prayer in the parking lot. After that, the game was on! The boys played hard, and had fun against a very competitive field! We came up just short in the championship game, after being at the ballpark for 14 hours, but their effort and attitude was never less than 100% all day. I love watching these boys grow and get better individually, as well as a team! BIG moments and BIGGER achievements await these boys! They all agreed, after the game last night, that they couldn’t wait for practice on Monday! Gotta love it! ⚾️💪🏼🔥
