Didn’t finish the season the way we wanted, but I’m incredibly proud of this group.

Our strength of schedule was about as tough as it gets. We faced 75+ mph nearly every weekend, saw plenty of arms in the low 80s, and competed against 10+ nationally ranked teams throughout the year.

These boys can walk away knowing they never backed down from a challenge. We chose to play the best every weekend because that’s how you grow, and they competed every step of the way.

We finished our 12U season at 32-20 overall and 23-16 in Major play. More importantly, this group grew as players, teammates, and young men. I have no doubt many of them will continue playing this game for a long time and go on to do great things in life.

*There were several who couldn’t make it out to Texas so I want to add them in here too.. Jude Yerkes, Mac Bibb, Max Thomas* They were a core part of this group too!

USA Scout Baseball – powered by Nike – is an elite travel baseball organization teamed up with Talley Performance, Alabama’s top training facility.

Just ONE session (outdoor at Bob Jones + indoor at Talley Performance) is required.

Notes

• Players should arrive 30 minutes early to check in and warm up.

This week turned teammates into brothers and friends into family. These boys played their hearts out, and I couldn’t be more proud of the way they competed, represented our program, and supported one another every step of the way.

To our parents, thank you for trusting us with your sons and for making this trip such a great experience for everyone involved. Your support, encouragement, and commitment mean more than you know.

The memories we made this week will last a lifetime. The laughs, the battles, the late nights, the big moments, and the friendships formed along the way are things none of us will ever forget. This group has become more than a team .. we’re family.

What a blessing it has been to coach such an incredible group of young men and be surrounded by amazing families. Finishing in the Sweet 16 out of 105 teams is an accomplishment these boys should be extremely proud of, but the relationships built and memories created are worth even more than the wins.
