Your gun doesn’t lead your eyes.

Your eyes lead your gun.

That one concept has changed more in my shooting than almost anything else.

Every transition starts with your vision. Your eyes find the next target first, then your hands bring the gun exactly where your vision is already working.

If your eyes are slow, your gun will always feel slow.

If your eyes are searching, your gun will always feel like it’s chasing.

The faster I trust my vision, the more efficiently the gun moves, the cleaner my transitions become, and the less time I waste.

This training session is all about building visual discipline because matches aren’t won by moving the gun faster. They’re won by seeing sooner.

Mental recovery is as important as physical recovery. This is me after two weeks off. I will now be scheduling recovery into my training plan.

Week One:
-Zero dry fire, just held her once a day to let her know I still care.
-One 100 round live fire session on simple fundamentals only.

Week Two: Zero dry fire. Zero live fire.

First match pushing speed (heavily for me). 0.76 from raw time champ agains 1st place PCC. The goal was speed and I found it, and with only 3 mikes. I have a TON of takeaways and look forward to exploring speed more over the next several months.
