Are you training optimally, or are you just getting fatigued? Do you know the difference? ๐ค

Optimally targeting muscles means:
- Using controlled form, range of motion, and resistance to place maximum tension on the specific muscle you want to grow or strengthen.
- Feeling that muscle working throughout each rep, not just moving weight from point A to B.
- Choosing exercises, angles, and loads that emphasize your target muscle, even if it means lifting less weight.
- Prioritizing mind to muscle connection to recruit fibers efficiently.
โ Training for fatigue alone means:
- Focusing on getting tired, sweaty, or sore without necessarily challenging the target muscle optimally.
- Using sloppy form, excessive momentum, or random exercises that donโt align with your goals.
- Mistaking exhaustion or a burning sensation as a sign of effective muscle stimulation, when it may actually reflect inefficient technique or systemic fatigue.
- Letting quantity (more reps, longer workouts) override quality (precise tension on the muscle).
You can feel exhausted without effectively stimulating the muscle you want to grow. Optimal training targets the muscle with intentional tension, while fatigue is just a byproduct, not the goal.
Be intentional. ๐
Whether your goal is to lose weight or get stronger, you will not stumble into success unless you make a dedicated, conscious, coordinated effort. ๐ That is a 100% fact.
There are many aids out there that can make reaching your goals easier, but unless they are at the forefront of your thought process, they will forever remain goals and not accomplishments.

Wyndham's first game was such a great experience! Though the couldn't pull a win out, we still made it on the big screen, had a great time with cousins, and got a game used ball courtesy of a great friend.
We've watched many games together, and I'm so glad we finally got to see "the blue guys" in real life.
