One of the questions we’ve been getting over and over is…

“Do you train boys?”
“When are you going to start offering boys workouts?”

Here we go!

We’re opening up our FIRST Boys Basketball Training Sessions, and we’re excited to work with players who are serious about improving their game.
Spots are LIMITED so we can keep the sessions competitive and give every player quality instruction and reps.

📅 Wednesday, July 22
⏰ Middle School: 12:00–1:00 PM
⏰ High School: 1:00–2:00 PM

Reserve your spot now through the Mack Basketball App.

Are you all a fan of the mid range pull up, or should players stick to threes and layups? Let me know your thoughts!

Less is more.

Some of the best scorers in the game don’t need a lot of dribbles to create offense. They get to their spots quickly, use deception to keep defenders off balance, and play with purpose.

Challenge yourself in practice to score using just 1–3 dribbles. You’ll become more efficient, more decisive, and much harder to guard.

Believe it or not, every clip in this video showcases a high level basketball play that translates to the next level.

The ability to draw multiple defenders, recognize where the help is coming from, and make the right read is exactly what college coaches want to see on the offensive end. Great players don’t force difficult shots, they create easy opportunities for their teammates and keep the game simple.

As Coach Gayle from Davidson College said:

“1-on-1, get it done. 1-on-2, not for you. 1-on-3… come sit next to me!” 🔥

Make the simple play. Winning basketball is smart basketball.

One of the best times to attack the defense is on a long closeout. When coaches say, “Win the closeout,” they simply mean to be a threat…shoot it, drive it, or make the next play. Force the defense to make another decision and keep them scrambling. Great work from this group today!

Space. Pace. Decision making. The game rewards players who can read what’s in front of them.
