8th Grade Sun Valley Spartans 2017

Flashback to 6th grade for all the seniors!

All,

Volunteers are needed! This is a fundraiser for football. SV will receive all concession proceeds and ½ of the gate ($5 entrance, under 6 yo are free).

Concession stand is being run by David Pressley with assistance from Shiloh Baptist Church.

Volunteers will receive free admission plus tickets for a hot dog/hamburger and drink (pick up tickets from me at the volunteer table that day).

The signup genie is attached but the quick rundown of what we currently need:

Team escorts for :
Carolina Pride - arrive at 415pm
PR - arrive at 515pm
Harding - arrive at 515pm
Hopewell – arrive at 615pm

3 canopies

2 for 8pm chain gang

Clock operator for 6, 7, and 8pm scrimmages

2018 Football Jamboree - August 10 Sun Valley will be hosting the 2018 FCA Jamboree.  We have 6 teams and each team will play once.  Below you will find the types of assistance needed.  Concession will be run by Shiloh Baptist church.  This is a fundraiser for us also. 2018 SV Stadium Painting Crew

All,

We have scheduled the stadium cleanup for Saturday, July 28 at 9:00am. Cross country usually takes the back access road, cheer usually takes the middle school area. We will concentrate on the stadium.

Typically we do the following:

Clean up the press box and stands
Edge the field
Clean up the trash
Take everything out of the concession stand, power wash, wipe down and reorganize.

We need all hands on deck if possible. The more folks who show up, the quicker we get done. Keep an eye out for a sign up genie with all the tasks.

Sun Valley MS is looking for volunteers to coach Middle School lacrosse (both boys and girls). If you have any former players/recent grads you know that are looking to get into coaching and also potentially teach please have them reach out. Our lacrosse program is booming and this would be an awesome opportunity for a recent grad to step and become a head coach.

Please be advised that if the SVABC is unable to fill these vacant coaching positions that the above listed SVABC sponsored sports may unfortunately be cancelled for the 2018 Spring Season***
