2020 Allen & Ginter CHROME? why would anyone want chrome versions of Allen & Ginter cards? This makes no sense at all. Allen & Ginter collectors like the brand for the unique vintage feel, why would you want them in chrome versions?

Did you know that Allen & Ginter were the first trading / to***co cards in the US. They were first distributed with to***co in 1887. The Allen & Ginter company was purchased along with a couple other companies and merged to become American To***co Co, which was one of the first 12 companies to make up the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The American To***co Company was later broken up by antitrust laws around 1911.

Did you purchase your chrome versions of these "vintage" cards today? Or did you look at them and asked yourself WHY?

48 Years ago this month, Roberto Clemente was killed in a plane crash delivering food and essentials to the people of Nicaragua following an earthquake. If he had never done anything else in his life, this act charity would have been enough to celebrate him as a hero, however he was and still is one of the best and most admired baseball players of all time. He was a 15x All Star, 2x World Series Champ, World Series MVP, 12X gold glove winner, and 4x NL batting champ. Playing his entire career with the Pittsburgh Pirates he accumulated exactly 3000 hits. If your looking for a Hall of Famer to start collecting there are few better places to start. If you already a PC of Roberto we would love to see your favorite card. Throwback Thursday set this week features a really great looking card, you should go pick up a set or two.
