LAMelo BALL AND ANTHONY EDWARDS ARE NOW TEAMMATES. WHAT DOES THAT DO TO THEIR FANTASY VALUE?

Minnesota’s blockbuster addition of LaMelo Ball gives the Timberwolves one of the most fascinating backcourts in the NBA.

It also creates a major fantasy basketball question.

Ball has the type of scoring and playmaking profile that can produce first-round fantasy value.

But he is no longer operating as the unquestioned centerpiece of his offense.

Now he shares the floor with Anthony Edwards.

That could work in two very different directions.

A stronger supporting cast could create easier looks, more assists and better overall efficiency for LaMelo.

But sharing usage with another superstar could also reduce the volume that made him such an attractive fantasy option in Charlotte.

So where does that leave him for 2026-27?

Is LaMelo Ball still a first-round fantasy basketball pick?

Or does the move to Minnesota actually lower his ceiling?

DYLAN CEASE COULD BE THE PITCHER WHO WINS YOUR FANTASY BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The win total might not jump off the page.

Everything else does.

Cease enters the stretch run with a 2.40 ERA and 227 strikeouts, putting him firmly in the American League Cy Young conversation.

More importantly for fantasy managers, the underlying profile is exactly what you want during the playoffs.

He misses bats at an elite level.

He has limited damage for most of the season.

And even when the walks show up, the strikeout ceiling gives him a path to huge fantasy performances.

That’s the type of pitcher who can swing an entire playoff matchup.

The Cy Young debate is interesting.

But fantasy managers care about a different trophy.

Can Dylan Cease carry your rotation to a championship?

MIKE EVANS BEING DRAFTED AS A WR3 DOESN’T MAKE MUCH SENSE TO ME

Fantasy managers seem to be pricing in Mike Evans’ age while potentially overlooking where he just landed.

Evans signed with San Francisco after spending his first 12 NFL seasons in Tampa Bay, and he now gets to play in Kyle Shanahan’s offense with Brock Purdy.

That’s a pretty attractive environment for a receiver who has spent his entire career making a living on explosive plays and touchdowns.

Evans has 108 career receiving touchdowns. He also produced 11 straight 1,000-yard seasons before injuries limited him to eight games in 2025.

At a WR3 price, you’re not drafting him expecting peak Mike Evans.

You’re betting that an all-time touchdown producer can still be extremely valuable inside one of the NFL’s best-designed offenses.

That feels like a bet worth making.

Is Mike Evans one of the biggest WR values in 2026 fantasy football?

JAVONTE WILLIAMS MIGHT STILL BE UNDERRATED IN 2026 FANTASY FOOTBALL

At some point, fantasy managers have to acknowledge what he already accomplished.

Javonte Williams finished as a top-10 fantasy running back.

Now he enters 2026 with an opportunity for his role in Dallas to become even more valuable.

That’s what makes this so interesting.

We aren’t hoping Williams suddenly proves he can produce at a high level.

He already did that.

The question is what happens if the workload, scoring opportunities and overall role take another step forward.

If they do, another top-10 finish may not even represent his ceiling.

There’s a legitimate argument that Javonte Williams could push toward the top five at running back.

So are fantasy managers still valuing him based on who they thought he was before last season instead of the player he has become?

Would you draft Javonte Williams as a potential top-five fantasy RB in 2026?

Season kicks off Wednesday. Tonight is the last clean look before the noise starts.

This is not another 2-hour fantasy recap. It’s 30–45 minutes of IDP you can actually use: snaps, roles, injuries, adds, and MNF leverage.

JONAH COLEMAN AT RB48 MIGHT BE ONE OF THE BEST LATE-ROUND BETS IN FANTASY FOOTBALL

At this point in a fantasy draft, I’m not looking for safe players with limited ceilings.

I want upside.

That’s what makes Jonah Coleman so interesting.

He’s being drafted around RB48, which means fantasy managers are barely paying for him.

But his path to becoming a meaningful part of the backfield is very real.

If that opportunity grows, his fantasy value could change dramatically while the acquisition cost remains almost nonexistent.

That’s exactly the profile I want late:

Cheap price.

Path to touches.

Significant upside if the role expands.

You don’t need every late-round pick to hit.

You need one or two of them to become players nobody expected to matter.

Jonah Coleman could be one of those players in 2026.

Would you take the shot at RB48?
