This is my go to workout if I'm short on time and don't know what to do.
It's called Simple and Sinister. 100 lb swings and 5 Turkish Get Ups per side. You break them up and do them as quickly as you can with good technique.
What's your go to quick workout?

Day 3 sword training, BUT, this is the first day I'm actually swinging the sword on the program.
This is VERY challenging (or I'm just a we**ie). But I want to share this not to brag but to encourage you to try something new and push yourself.

We got a new piece of training equipment at the Lab and a few have taken on the challenge.
More to come soon!

Happy birthday to my lovely wife Becca. I thank you for being the sweetest mother to our children that I could possibly ask for.
I also thank you for drawing near to me in times of adversity and knowing what's truly important. I love you.

Suddenly and out of nowhere these two made my Saturday.
They both performed their first strict push ups during my bootcamp class!
These two have been working on building the strength and technique for push ups for a couple months.
I guess all they needed was a little peer pressure!
Well done
And Angela!

Proud coach moment! My client smashed a deadlift PR of 225lb for 4 reps!
To make it even better it was a rather impromptu PR test.
Did I take a video? No. I'm an idiot and was caught up in the moment. 😅

Took the fam to the Polar Express!
It was truly magical and the staff does an amazing job.
Afterwards we stayed at the West Baden Hotel (something I've always wanted to do). This hotel is truly fabulous 👌

This is what dedication looks like
Cindy hasn't missed a beat since breaking her arm out on the trail.
She has even still been coming to my bootcamp classes and doing them 1 armed!
This is a good example of not relying on fickle "motivation " to dictate your exercise.
Motivation comes and goes (just like your transient uncle) so we shouldn't rely on it for our health and well-being.
Instead find exercise that you enjoy (or feels empowering) and commit to showing up for a month. After that month you will feel the difference in your body and create a habit which is far harder to break or give up on.
Good HABITS get you where you want to go, not motivation.
