Another rifle from last Thursday. Been doing load work for a client. 22 Creedmoor shooting a 69g Blitzking. 10 shots. I've shot this load multiple times over the last 1.5 months, and it's been very consistent. May call this good for now, but revisit it as the barrel settles in. New Peterson LRP brass. Federal Match LRP. H4350.

Spent the morning and part of the afternoon at the range with multiple rifles. Little over 4 hours total. This 6 ARC was one of them. I put 13 rounds thru it yesterday to set the gas and perform some function firing. I put another 55 rounds thru it today to set the scope and to shoot some groups/ chrono with a couple different types of ammunition. The first set of groups above the orange circle is with Hornady 80g VT ammunition. 3 shot groups working up, with the top group being the last group, and it's a 5 shot group. I didn't take a picture of the chrono, but it averaged 2882fps through this new 20" barrel. The 4 shot group left of the orange circle is a 58g V-Max load that I developed in a different rifle. The last picture of groups is with a 75g V-Max load from a popular boutique ammo shop. It didn't fare as well as the factory 80g VT ammo from a precision perspective, but it is what I tentatively plan on using until I work a load for this rifle at some point. The 75g V-Max load averaged 2856fps over 20 shots. I will shoot this ammo again with the suppressor attached and see how that affects the groups. This barrel has a bit to settle in, and I will recheck velocities in about another 150ish rounds.

6 ARC has been my favorite SAAMI predator hunting cartridge since it was released. Looking forward to running this prototype barrel.
