❌I RECOMMEND “NOT STARTING” WITH THE 25lb PLATE WITH 45lb BAR❌

👉🏾 I use that much weight because not only do I have tight calves from commuting on a bike for 8yrs, but I’m able to tolerate that much after practicing these processes for a year.

🔥Myofascial Meltdown🔥 on the Infraspinatis & Supraspinatis. Alright My People as promised last week, the finishing touches on the Rotator Cuff. This time the Superior Muscle Pair. Like the other 3, these 2 also work synergistically with others and the Deltoids to perform numerous movements.
⚠️Safety First⚠️
TOOLS Needed
❇️Curl Bar
❇️5/10lb plates
❇️Golf Balls
❇️Dumbbells 10lbs-25lbs
👉🏾Using the Curl Bar. Use a bench, or chair that holds the back upright. Place the curved part of the bar directly on top of of the Supraspinatis and begin moving in a circular motion until you feel you’re hitting the desired spot. Continue for a few minutes, rest and repeat. Add weight plates based on tolerance or severity of knotted tissue.

👉🏾Using Golf balls for the Infraspinatis. As in the video, Place as many as 3 balls (preference) close to one another. While holding the arm of the shoulder you’ll be working on, Slowly lie down and then raise you hips to apply the desired pressure. As the hips are lowered, roll left to right or up and down to cover the entire muscle area.

👉🏾Using Dumbbells for the Supraspinatis. Simply place the edge of the weight right in the pocket of the Muscle and begin rolling form left to right. Choose pounds based on tolerance because that edge is going to get pretty deep anyway.

🔥Myofascial Meltdown🔥 on the
👉🏾Acromial Part of the Deltoid. What we commonly know as the Medial Deltoid.
How “critically important” are the shoulder muscles for stabilizing the rotator cuff and assisting in all movement pertaining to he arms? EXTREMELY 🤗
I encourage everyone to monitor how many times in your day you didn’t use your shoulder muscles..... 🤔😉
✅And now you know why it’s just as important to Stretch and Perform Myofascial Release on them.
✅It’s Action in regards to this part specifically is to abduct the arm at the glenohumeral joint.
Simultaneous contraction of the supraspinatus muscle is necessary in order to initiate abduction from the anatomical position as you’ll see midway through the video
✅You can use a tennis, golf, or women’s soft ball (which there’s nothing soft about that thing lol) to Roll it out. To add more pressure to during this exercise, simply lean further into an angle against the wall/ball
