This is why I love RESTART.
As a licensed RESTART instructor, I see it over and over again—when people learn why and how to cook real food, everything changes. Energy. Cravings. Confidence.
I’m excited to kick off my Sugar Detox Program powered by RESTART and walk alongside anyone ready for a reset.
Just eat real food in the form of quality protein, healthy fats and carbohydrates in the form of vegetables. And when meal prepping, take it back to these basics and you'll have a start!

The holiday season is such a beautiful time, filled with warmth, family, and celebration. But if I’m honest, it can also bring a lot of stress and overwhelming emotions.
As a Holistic Nutrition Consultant, I’ve walked this path myself—juggling the joy and the demands—and I want you to know it’s okay to pause and prioritize your own wellness.
Here are some gentle reminders to help you stay grounded and nourished through the holiday rush:
🌿 Move Mindfully
Even a few minutes of gentle and laughter yoga or stretching can uplift your mood and ease tension. Don’t forget—you can always use a chair for support (I’ll happily show you how!).
🥗 Nourish Your Body
Enjoy all the delicious holiday foods, but remember to include vibrant, whole foods that support your brain and energy—think leafy greens, nuts, berries, and omega-3 rich foods.
🤝 Connect With Loved Ones
Meaningful connections feed our souls. Reach out to family or friends, or find ways to volunteer and give back to your community.
🧘 Breathe & Reset
When things feel overwhelming, pause for a few deep breaths. This small practice can help calm your mind and bring you back to center.
This season, be kind to yourself. You deserve to feel peaceful, nourished, and joyful.

What a heartwarming surprise to be recognized with the Community Leader Award by Fit Movement!
Standing on that stage, plaque in hand, reminded me how powerful it is when purpose meets service. Through Neeta Merchant Wellness, I’ve shared moments of laughter, healing, and nourishment with seniors, children, cancer warriors, grieving families, and professionals alike.
Each session — whether through laughter yoga, holistic nutrition, or energy healing — has been a reminder that we all seek the same things:
A little joy
A safe space to heal
And someone to walk beside us on the journey
This recognition is a shared one. With every soul who’s laughed, breathed, or healed beside me — thank you.

I’m still smiling from this past weekend! 😄 I had the absolute joy of being part of the Florida Weekend of Laughter in Sarasota, celebrating 30 incredible years of Laughter Yoga. 💛
The energy was amazing — full of connection, healing, and joy. Being part of this community with them made the experience even more meaningful. 💫
We heard powerful stories like Gail Trites’, who found hope through laughter after losing her husband, and witnessed firsthand how laughter yoga brings people together in the most joyful way — no matter their age or background.
Huge gratitude to Cynthia Paris, Alexa Dubray, Cathy Grippi and Nicole Pontelendolfo (LYUSA Team) for their heartfelt leadership, and to everyone who made the event unforgettable. 🙏
