Estill County High School Softball 56th District Champions!

The Lady Engineers finished the season with a dramatic walk-off 7-6 win against Wolfe County last night.

Jovie Spicer drove a ball up the 3rd base line to score the winning run with two outs in the 7th inning.

Earlier in the game Kenzie Howard hit her 6th home run of the season and Sydney Riddell hit her 1st.

Spencer Young earned the hard fought win pitching 7 innings and giving up 4 earned runs while striking out 6.

Estill closed out the regular season 14-14 winning 7 of their last 9 games. They were undefeated in district and regional play.

The Lady Engineers will host the 56th district tournament. Estill will play Owsley County at noon on Saturday, May 16th.
