The Vilbig Bass Club January meeting will be held on Tuesday January 11th, 7:30pm at Rick Huffman’s home.
Along with the normal agenda, we will vote for “Sportsman of the Year” and “Most Improved”.
We will also vote for any Rules/Bylaws changes, which there are two proposed changes.
1. Increase the annual membership dues to $60 per year to keep up with increased costs of awards.
2. Allow trolling during tournaments.
If you cannot attend the meeting, you may vote via Proxy. Contact Rick Huffman to pick up a proxy ballot.

This is very impressive.
We used to shrug off the guys who had an average of 100 or more points in their lifetime. That was because the high averages were held by guys that fished only a few tournaments and they didn't have to fish the extreme weather tournaments that were fished by guys who fish all of them.
But! Two relatively new anglers have maintained high averages since they started fishing club. They are veterans now and and put in the time. The amazing part is they really didn't go through a learning process that most club members do when trying to figure the uniqueness of Lake Vilbig.
Pierce Johnston and Tony Saltarski are those guys. 104 and 105 point average. That's impressive!!!
Also congratulations to Pierce Johnston on his AOY.
