Every once in a while you come across one of the great ones, Krylon was one of those!
He came to us over a dozen years ago, they called him Ol' Paint, although that name did work for them, I felt he was something special and needed a unique name to reflect that. I thought of the bikes and equipment that I loved enough to give that special coat of paint, and that usually came from a Krylon can.
From the beginning I felt a bond that you can only feel with a bucking horse. He wasn't the type to greet you in the pasture to give you some love, he was a bucking horse through and through and he was doing what he loved. He was a horse anyone could win on, I dint think we ever gave a re-ride on him he always performed and threw off a plenty of bronc busters who thought they would make easy work of riding him.
Last night after taking his rider to the lead in the saddle bronc riding, tragedy struck as he stepped on the rein, tripped, and fell. Krylon did not survive the this unexpected accident. Although we do everything we can to avoid these accidents and to keep our animals and riders safe, unfortunately sometimes things happen that are out of our control. Krylon left this world on his terms doing what he loved, and if heaven needed a great bucking horse they got a great one last night!
So with a tear in my eye, I give thanks to the Lord that He felt the need to bless me with a horse as great as Krylon.
