📣 SCHOOL DOES NOT TEACH THIS!

😒 This is the most frustrating thing not being taught the more essential things that we ACTUALLY need to survive in the real world.

✨I could go even deeper on this, but I'll be debunking school myths throughout this week on here and my IG,

📲Follow and Share to bring awareness and
🧡 support

My name is Destiny, also known as Dez! After graduating from Dave Ramsey Financial Coach Master’s Training Program, I am officially a Financial Coach!! I am happily able to celebrate this by giving you all a piece of who I am.

For those that don’t know me; I have a background in Psychology and Business, currently and always will be a student. I have spent my entire collegiate career helping and even coaching other students. I then aspired to make changes to college-age students by pursuing my dream of being a Life Coach.

To do this meant to be vulnerable and share my story. Before getting into college, I was a part of a group called Stafford Junction, in which they taught me to pursue my dreams and coached me through the process of college. They even had me share my story on Fox 5 and published me in an article in the school newspaper my freshman year. It was VERY nerve-wracking, but it inspired many others who visited my school and listened to this first-generation student when I was an Admissions Tour Guide. To me, I wasn't special; it was just MY story. I did not grow up with money; in fact, money was one of the main stressors in my household. I was a first-generation, and there were many things about money I had to navigate on my own while being in college.

I was born and raised in New York, but eventually, my parents wanted a better life for our family and moved us to Virginia. There were many ups and downs, but my parents did what they could. There was a period where my mother was a single mom before being remarried. Even through all of that, my parents made gems, but my story does not end there. I WILL give back to them because they deserve the world!

SORRY for the rest of my story go to the COMMENT SECTION. Instagram doesn't allow for this long of captions.
