20 Minutes a day is all you need!
However you want to get movement in that you can get 20 minutes of. It doesn't have to be all at once. It can be a walk, it can be a mobility routine, it can be resistance training, or a home workout.
But move for at least 20 minutes a day and make a habit of it. We are not meant to be sedentary so if we just get some movement in with 20 minutes a day we can start to see a change and make a healthy habit along the way

Success is not what others think
Success is what you define. We all have a different path of success that is determined by our values, vision, and where we are at in this moment of our life.
I see so many coaches compare themselves to others because they aren't seeing the same results as other coaches posting on social media.
I will admit, I was one of those people who compare and sometimes fall into that trap still. Oh well, we are human and it's okay.
To help you get back on track of what YOU define as success, try this:
1) Write down 3 of your core values
2) Define what sucess is for you
3) Write down how you will get to your vision of success (try using 1, 3, and 5 year visions).
It won't look the same each year, and it's okay if it changes. Our values change as we grow as individuals.
As a Life coach for coaches, I don't want you to make the same nistakes as I did. This is the reason I post. There is a way to be in this profession without being overwhelmed all the time and burning out. Start with this exercise because this allows you to have a clear vision for yourself.
Tag a coach that needs to hear this!

Your Path Can Change
You dont have to move linearly. If you have passions or hunches, follow them. There is a reason ideas pop up. Make sure that you take a moment to breathe to make sure it is intuition ans not fear.
You can do this by the following:
1) Get comfortable and to the best of your ability have a straight spine
2) Focus on your breathing. Inhale through your nose and exhale out your nose. Trace the breath as you do this
3) Ask a clarifying question
4) sit with it and let an answer pop up. Please don't force an answer there And answer may not pop up for a week but usually it pops up within 48 hours if no in the activity
Example questions:
"Should I follow this (insert idea)?"
" What should I do about (insert here)?"
" Please give me clarity around this (insert what you need clarity with)"
There are so many other ways to go about this so get creative with your questions.
Remember you can pursue multiple things at a time but keep in mind that you are human. You are not a robot and your time should be managed accordingly. Nobody likes burnout or stress from a tight schedule.
Recently, I had some ideas come to mind that are still health oriented to pursue and I needed clarity. So I did exactly what i'm sharing with you and it helps.
The cool thing about being a coach is it gives you freedom to explore yourself and other things you want to do while helping people.

I want to Re-Introduce Myself and share a bit about me:
Hey all! I have quite a bit of new friends here so I wanted to give you all a warm welcome an Introduce myself. I like to say hi to all my new frieds in the messages too so dont be alarmed there. I am a Life coach for fitness professionals and coaches and have been expanding my network to be friends with those in my area and other coaches. I think it's importan for coaches to be connected and spread their wisdom and love.
The reason I became a coach came from Highschool and merged into Personal Training. It evolbed from there as I engaged in more mindfulness practices and ended up getting a 200hr yoga cert and then a 300 hr one.
I finished my BA in Psychology with emphasis in Mindfulness and Behavior Change in 2021. I am pretty young at the ripe age of 22 and managed to pack alot in those years. So much so that I burnt out doing what I love 3 times. That's right! THREE TIMES in the past 5 years coaching!
I came back each time because I simply love what I do but I wanted to see a change as I saw that it is a common occurence for Fitness Professionals and even Online Coaches to get Burnt out. I dont want you to be feeling tired, drained, and hating your passion. There is a reason you become a coach.
So on my page I will be posting about what I have learned and tips to help you out. Feel free to comment your story below because I know coaches all have a reason on why they became one
If you read this far, thank you and have a wonderful day!

YOU HAVE TO HAVE A ROUTINE:
Have you heard so many coaches preach this? Although, routines help you have some stability in the day, they can also lead to stress levels if you dont meet them. At least that is what I have been noticing.
Your routine does not have to be met strictly each and every day. Have guidelines set.
For instance, I have an irregular schedule. The days I don't have meetings or clients in the morning, I give myself permission to sleep in. When I wake up I eat the food I prepped and do what my body needs. Usually, I go on my phone ans start working on it and shift onto my computer. That's my process because computer work can be tedious for me.
Set guidelines for yourself and have an outline for the day to provide structure, but give yourself permission to take a detour if you need too.
My Schedule:
Wake up
Eat, brush, maybe some tapping techniques
Go on my phone and start working then shift to the laptop
As soon as I get hungry I eat lunch and finish up what I had left to work on
Usually, I stop any book work after 4 hours
Teach some classes or if none, I do what I feel like
Eat dinner
Night time routine: journal, read a bit, and then breathwork (takes 30-60 minutes depending on how I feel).
Notice How I go intuitive guideline based but if I need extra rest that day, I take it. Listen to your body, the challenge comes in if you are too tired everyday to get anything done. That's when adjustments need to be made.
If you are or anyone you know needs help with this, let me know. I am a life coach for fitness professionals and coaches. I am all about decreasing overwhelm so you don't burnout doing what you love.

What I noticed in Fitness Professionals when approaching Burn-Out is hoping no one shows for their class so they can leave early or happy that a client cancels. This happens! It is a major sign you are spread too thin. This happend to me before and I am happy to say it doesn't anymore. Yes, there is the occasional time where sometimes I want to go home early but it isn't a normal thought anymore. It occurs when I skip a meal on accident.
If this is currently happening to you, try doing a time audit on how many hours you are working(include drive time from facility to facility). If it is more than 45 hours I see your issue already!
Another aspect to look for is to see if you actually like the placws you are performing your services in. It's okay if you don't like it, you can leave it. There is a huge demand for fitness professionals now that the pandemic is simmering down. There is even possibility for you to expand your online presence and have clients that way.
Check the locations on how far you are willing to drive and try to get more back to back clients/classes or have them in the same area. This takes time but you'll get there.
Location and pay can make a huge difference because your gas is being used and if you aren't being paid enough for the time you travel there it can lead to resentment, even if the facility has an amazing work culture. It may not suit your needs in this moment.
Rest! Take some time off and see how you can make your schedule work for you. We are in this field for a reason, don't let your flame burn you out. Allow it to roar by containing it. To do this it is important to make sure you are eating, drinking water, taking breaks, drawing boundaries, getting enough sleep for your body, and creating a work-life balance.
If you are struggling with this, let me know. This is exactly what I help my online clients with. I'm a life coach for fitness professionals because I have been where you are at.
I may be young but I packed alot in the 5 years I have been in this industry😊. Learn from my mistakes and my BA in Psychology.
